I have 5 shade sails up. They are great for Texas Freezes and Blistering Heat Wave Summers. They have endured 17- 107 degree temperatures and for the most part have done very well for the most part. The 14x13x14 purcahsed in July 2022 lost two of the D rings used to attach the sails to a permanent object. The HDPE Sail Material is excellent, however, the material that attached the D Ring to the Sail is not as resilient. The sail lasted just over one year. Two D rings failed. I was able to rig the sails back up using other materials and is working but doesnt look as good with an effective D Ring attachment. I would still purchase this item, but the vendor should look at a more reisilient attachment material.

this thing went through two severe storms in two consecutive days and held up like a champ. We had 60 mph wind gusts and i was more worried the mounting hardware would fail than the actual sail. Will definitely buy again.

Easy to hang with great shade.Water pools in sail even when it is taut and hung at an angle to drain. That's the only reason for the four stars. Make sure there is nothing below the spot where it pools or it will get soaked.Substantially reduces the heat in our backyard full of pavers and a metal fence.Our sails are new so I don't know about longevity, but I recommend them if you want a lower cost shade alternative that can be easily removed.

I got two red ones to go over a small deck. I attached them to fence posts and then via wires to the house and garage. It is kind of hard to judge exactly where to place the anchor points until you are putting them up. If one is off by just a bit, it will sag (no amount of tightening the wires will fix a poorly chosen anchor point.) With some trial and error they went up fine though. I will probably extend the fence posts at some point because that side is kind of low. They even block light rain pretty well, even though they are porous. They sag a bit during heavy rain, but bounce back once they dry out.

Would have liked a smaller size but the big one was on sale so I went with it.

I just received this sun shade and it is not yet installed but I wanted to post about the color. It is called turquoise but it is not. My picture shows this sun shade and a piece of turquoise fabric. I consider the color more of a teal or aqua. It is more green than blue. The color is not bad but is not what I was expecting. I have read other reviews about issues with the ones described as red. Just beware the color you receive may not be what you are expecting.
