It's a slim fit with a chest of 39. If you prefer a loose fit, you can choose L.

Q: Are these slim fit or regular fit?

I would call these regular fit. I normally wear a three x, but wanted something to wear untucked, that would cover my dad belly when I raise my arms. These do this while wearing my work out pants under my belly, instead of at the natural waist.
