These are solid hooks. I have exposed studs in my shed, so installation was easy. I like the extra grippy-ness of the plastic coating. The depth of the opening is generous which fits an assortment of items. I am however concerned about the quality of the lag bolts—not good. If you are intending to put anything heavy or critical, head over to the hardware store and get some decent bolts. My only other concern is that they only have a single mounting hole. For light duty use this would probably be fine, but for heavier items, especially if you are mounting these in drywall, I would prefer some redundancy.

It's hard to expand on a review for utility hooks. These are perfectly good hooks @ $5 each. The hook coating is good. It'll help sliding and metal on metal contact. I like them.They are only 4" deep, so measure before ordering if you intend to hang a ladder, and these probably shouldn't be used to hang wheel/tires. The rated 88lbs is completely fine, but hanging wheels (like in one of the pics they include) where the whole wheel will be sitting at the end of the hook on the curved up bit means all the weight is right on the end. You want heavy objects to sit on most or all of the shelf arm. If it's all at the end it means all the weight is pulling out/down on that bolt/screw. Get longer or flatter hooks if it won't sit inside the arm or closer to the wall.

These are perfect for any garage. You’re able to hang many different items on these hooks whether it be clothes, garden tools, power tools or anything else for that matter. Hooks are strong and finished very well. They have a padded cushion that will protect what you’re hanging from sharpe edges. Installation was super easy. I did use some higher end screw I had instead of the included hardware, they seemed like low quality. These hooks can hold up to 40kg which is more than enough for me needs. Great addition to the garage and helps get items off the bench and floor!
