Love it. Bought one for my elderly parents to help them around the house, and one for myself to use in the garden as I am freaked out by bugs. Good construction, handy magnet tip, great for retrieving things that have fallen behind cupboards.If like me you love your garden but want to keep critters at arms length then this is great, I can pick up windfalls without being stung, pull branches towards me for easy pruning, it’s a massive help. There is a weight restriction but it’s reasonable. The grip is easy to use and there’s no hand fatigue, even my dad who has arthritis in his thumbs finds it easy to use

Bought for my elderly father-in-law when he hurt his back and couldn't bend down to pick things up easily. I was worried it wouldn't be much good, seeing negative reviews of much more expensive grippers.Firstly, it's pretty light, and the grip allows the whole hand to pull on the trigger. This makes it pretty easy to use for anyone frail or with arthritis.The soft rubber jaws are serrated and really do help pick small objects up with ease. I think you'd struggle with anything heavier or larger than a jar of jam though. Realistically a large remote control or mobile phone would be the limit for someone with a weaker grip.The tip on the outside of the jaws is great for clothes or something light that the jaws would maybe not be appropriate for.In all a very practical and well made gripper.

This is a nifty little grabber with a lot of cool ideas. One jaw is rubber coated which helps it to grip, although having both jaws coated in rubber would have been better. They are accurate enough to pick up surprisingly small items. It also has a hook which is handy for pulling cords/wires or grabbing bag handles.There is also a small magnet embedded in the end which saved my bacon when i dropped some screws down the back of the washing machine!Grabbing takes place by squeezing a trigger in the handle. The unit is light and easy to operate although the grip of the jaws depends entirely on how hard you squeeze the handle so this is worth bearing in mind if you have someone with limited grip strength.Unfortunately the lightness is a result of having fairly flimsy construction which means it isn't great for heavy or bulky items. Just about OK for a bottle of ketchup or tin of beans. Not OK for a bag of sugar.Also worth thinking about the length you need. I went for the 24" thinking that would be plenty. In practice there have been plenty of times i wished it was longer. If i was buying again I would definitely get the longer one.Overall it's a nice little gadget for the price but if you need plenty of oomph I'd suggest paying a bit more for something better constructed.

I broke our last one of these and was mortified as it had been so good and used many times. I was relieved to find the same type on Amazon and ordered one which is longer than the one we had. It has a little hook on one end at the front and a magnet situated in the opposite part of the same end. I haven't just used these for reaching for items out of reach in the house but have made use of it for bringing branches down to be pruned. They are ideal for getting something out of the bottom of a wheelie bin in a dignified manner. It is easy to use, not stiff at all and now that I have a longer one I am expecting it to be even better. I believe when I ordered it that there was a choice of two sizes. It's one of the most useful gadgets I've got and easily stored away in between uses.

I am delighted with this stick because it is the one I used to have but had to replace after a couple of years. I have tried others but the can't compare with this one. So glad I found it again and I recommend it above all others. I am going to get another one so I have a spare. The only negative is that it has gone up in price a bit but that is the least of my worries for the need it fulfils. I am elderly and find it difficult and painful to bend down now so this device is essential to me!

Has alleviated the need for me to stoop or bend significantly. It is fairly robust, doesnt feel flimsy however, it is not good for heavy items, but perfect for picking up those irritating little laundry items that seem to naturally gravitate to the the floor when you empty the washing machine! Would like to suggest something that could be attached to the end of the gripper to keep it closed when it isnt being used - I achieve this with an elastic band but it isnt ideal. If you dont have a back problem but know someone who has the start of one, this is a great gadget to give as a gift. If they already have a back problem they will definitely benefit from one.

This is the best grabber I've ever used. I've used it to pull up heavy objects, e.g. a large step-ladder from the floor below, as well as to lift up objects. Today I used it for putting picture hooks on a high picture rail and it worked great. What I like it's that or can hold really small things without losing its grip. Very impressed with this! I'd definitely go for a good quality grabber like this one.

Demasiado larga, nada práctica

It feels nice and everything, but if I lean it to the side and try to grab something, the handle "locks" itself and can not be pressed in, which is pretty annoying 😒 It fixes itself if you turn it up straight again, so that's how you gotta use it I guess.

Compramos dos en el cole para que nuestra patrulla de limpieza recogiera el patio después del recreo. Llevamos con ellas más de 5 cursos y siguen funcionando a pesar de haberlas usado varias generaciones de niños y niñas de 6 y 7 años. Ayer parece que una dejó de funcionar y la repondremos con la misma, nos han dado un resultado increíble.

This product has done wonders for my Mother who suffers a chronic back condition. No more bending over. It’s even gone to the extent that it’s improved her overall back pain because she doesn’t need to bend over as much! A must buy for anyone who struggles with bending over.

Non-folding so does not buckle under load. Good grip feel and strength. Have used many reachers and this design recommended.
