Works, but it says it has basically almost 3 times the battery capacity of the original one.Works the same time as the original one.With the original my battery used to die at a specific point in the apartment during vacuuming. This one dies in the same point.Yes, for the price its alright so i can’t really complain, but for the promised quality they promised in the ad, its a disappointment.

Works fine but as stated, charge led remains on constantly while charging. Never goes out even at full charge .

Use it for a quick vacuum with Dyson cordless vacuum but it runs out of power after a few minutes, then have to wait to recharge to finish the rest, just annoying

Dyson wanted $240.00 CAD for a replacement battery for our V8 Animal. This third-party battery was around $60.00 CAD. The mAh of the Dyson battery replacement was 2800. This new third-party replacement is 6000, which means it will last much longer between charges. However, our Dyson battery lasted 5 years. Will this third-party replacement last that long? There is no way to tell. With batteries you often get what you pay for, so time will tell. But in the meantime, it is performing very very well. Please note that there are no instructions for replacing the battery, so a visit to YouTube will solve that problem for you. The replacement is easy. You just need a small Phillips screwdriver. The battery slots right into place and that's it. The battery comes with two replacement filters as well - one for the head of the Dyson vacuum canister and one for the back of the canister.So, should you purchase this Dyson replacement battery? It's hard to say. It could very well end up being nothing more than a band-aid if it doesn't last that long. However, it is possible that it will last. Will it last as long as five years? Well, even if it lasts two years, it will have been worth the purchase. Just do the math and you still come out ahead.

I purchased this battery as a replacement for my existing V8 Dyson. I have yet to recharge the battery and easily lasts at least twice as long as the factory original. Would definitely recommend

I’ve used this battery for about a month. Maybe 6 times. Now it doesn’t take a charge and runs for maybe 10 seconds before cutting out. Contacted seller and they agreed to a full refund. Can’t complain about their good customer service.
