Traditional Garden Shed Wooden Wild Bird Nesting Birdhouse Box Robin Bluetit

Not the best quality- the nails have huge holes around them and there’s a few chunks out of the wood. The birds won’t mind too much though! Would be nice to have a little dowel beneath the hole so the birds can perch and look around before ducking in, might add one of these ourselves. Also think it’ll need a coat of lacquer or varnish before putting it up or the raw wood won’t last very long. We had a nesting box before which was very popular with blue tits but after many years it was falling apart, hopefully they’ll like the new box just as much!

Very poor quality. It came missing screws so the top was hanging off. The whole thing needs sanding as it's incredibly shabby. I will never buy this again and strongly advise that you don't either. I will be applying for a refund.

There seems to be negative comments regarding this bird boxI was hesitant about this purchase but was really surprised how well made it actually isThe only thing that’s a let down is that it’s wood is not preserved so a quick brush over with some weather shield and jobs a good one

Received my Bird Box yesterday ,Not happy with Quality,the base is to big so the nails are just halfway in ,waited 2 weeks for this item 😥

Read some of the comments saying this item was roughly finished, I would Not Agree, I was very pleased with the quality of finishing.The only thing I would do is give it a coat of varnish to protect it.Well worth the price.

Delighted with the bird box. Hope it will be used for the blue tits. Will purchase another soon as an extra Christmas present for my daughte. She has recently moved into a new house and is trying to attract the small birds there.

It's a tidy looking box and overall well made. I got made a protective ring around the entrance / exit of the box as I do have Woodpeckers in the area. Easily mountable on a fence.

It arrived with the hinges falling off, due to the screws not being long enough. For it to last any length of time I applied a coat of varnish, and installed longer screws to the hinges. After all of this it is still of good value for the price and I would recommend it to anyone that doesn't mind a little bit of work to make it last.
