I had a long trip coming up and needed a method to transport my insulin for over 7 weeks.So I thought I would give the MediFlask a try as it was advertised as an active cooling flask.Well it is very good quality and works well.A few answers that will probably help some of you:- I brought a 2800maH battery pack separately and that easily lasts 7 full hours of power for the MediFlask- The plastic tube I made (in the photos) from a document folder to slide in the centre of the cooling tube will hold 24 x 3Ml insulin cartridges (after removing them from their blister pack) and keeps the cartridges together.- The cooling performance is good for such a small unit, holiding between 3-8C in ambient temps of 20-24C- It's not heavy and is slighly larger than your average drinks thermos flask.- You cannot lock it in a bag * It needs to be out in the open or in a bag were the top is open to allow the cooling to work- Airport security recognise them and may ask you to place it in the scanner on it's own (no issues at all)- Would I buy another one if needed? Yes- After using the product and seeing how well it has performed with a critical task, it's good value and easy to recommend.

Have used this for travel to New Zealand. Trips of 3+ months from battery or incar. Not let me down yet, consistent temp for meds.Possibly not suitable for more bulky meds. Always reliant on having a power supply/ charged battery source.
