It's thick and creamy. It tastes like regular alfredo. It is very garlicky though. Each packet will be enough for two people depending on how much sauce you like. I love Daiya products and this sauce is one of their best. I highly recommend it.

Taste like real cheese and can be used a variety of ways.

This had zero taste of Alfredo, it tasted like it was stored in old plastic.It was very "cheesy" and stuck to the yellow pea pasta spaghetti I used.As other reviews state, you have to add garlic or other spices to it, and that's true, but it should be sold as a "cheese base", not a cheese sauce, that is the reason for the 3 stars.I added fresh pesto, brucetta, and spinach and it made a very tasty and instantly satisfying meal. Even my husband loved it and he isn't vegan and thinks all things vegan taste bad, It brought me happiness to see the shock on his face as he was thoroughly enjoying a vegan meal. That is why I'm bringing my star rating to a 4, based on his enjoyment of this sauce. So one star off for it being a base and not telling us we must add to it to take away the plastic taste of the product. (I'm not sure why it tasted like old plastic. It's not enclosed in any plastic!)Yes, I would buy this again, it comes with 3 individually wrapped sauce packets, and is a versatile base to make many cheesy pastas.

This is really good as Nacho cheese. Friend didn't realize it wasn't a dairy cheese

I don't know if they redid this one yet, but this is THE best hands down vegan nacho cheese I have ever had and I have had almost all of them available in the US. This is spicy, smooth, cheesy, and just overall my favorite. I use this on chips, burritos, breakfast potatoes, really anything that could use some spicy warm cheese. I really REALLY hope they don't make this into the oat kind like the rest

Since I’ve had no choice but to give up all dairy and gluten from my diet, I’ve searched high and low for good cheese alternatives. What complicates things further is my husband, he can still eat everything, so it can make it more complicated to feed us both being that my diet is so restrictive and his isn’t. But this sauce makes things much simpler. I’ve used it to make chicken alfredo, which really tastes very similar to jarred Alfredo sauce. One day I was craving beef stroganoff, and my husband loves hamburger helper, so I used this with gluten free pasta, hamburger meat and dairy free shredded cheese, it was so yummy and hubby didn’t know that it wasn’t hamburger helper! This makes life much easier for me! I’m a lifetime buyer for sure!

Daiya Deluxe Cheese sauce is bitter tasting. It has a distinct residue metallic taste after eating it. I didn't enjoy it and no one liked it in the macaroni & cheese. I wanted my money back but I couldn't return it, so I've chalked it up as a loss. Manufacturer should find a way to make this cheese sauce edible. I felt like regurgitating after eating it. Maybe it's the aluminum type packaging that the cheese sauce is contained in. I wouldn't recommend this product, unless the metallic taste has been removed and the cheese sauce is edible. The kids didn't even like the Mac & cheese.

Wouldn’t have purchased if I knew it had such a short expiration date. The product expired before I had the chance to use it.
