I bought this for my husband for his birthday. He said he played with it all day at work yesterday. So it's safe to say it did it's job. It writes really well and the ink cartridge can be changed/replaced.

Pros:Looks nice as art.Keeps stylus/pen at hand.Love the 2-in-1 option (stylus and pen)Cons:None.Other thoughts:Great as a practical place to have a pen/stylus at hand. Looks nice as art, although if you look it at closely, it may look a bit of cheap quality. Still, helpful to have in my office.

So yeah, this is a cool pen, and it's well made. The exterior is a textured aluminum like on a macbook and the case/holder thing is made of the same material as well. Everything comes presented in a really nice black box... although the astronaut graphic on the front is a TOUCH tacky, but whatever. So the pen itself has some weight to it and feels like it's high quality. There are two separate tips, one is a ballpoint pen with a refill included, and the other is a stylus with a disc tip. Now this ISN'T a replacement for an Apple Pen, there are no batteries or anything... but it works like a stylus on any mobile device with a capacitive touch screen. I must say, the stylus is much more precise than most of the ones out there, i'm able to get different textures depending on the pressure and my writing is very sharp and the lines go where i want them to. The ballpoint pen is equally as well made, smooth writing without any fading or running dry. It's a joy to write with and i do a ton of writing during the day. It feels good in the hand and actually improves my handwriting thanks to the weight. When i'm not using the pen, it really does float in it's holder thanks to the magnets in the ring. The pen stays put on it's little dimple in the base and hasn't fallen out of it's little 'orbit' or whatever you wanna call it yet. Speaking of the base, it's a heavy base for its size, not too heavy, just... solid. The footprint is small enough so it goes anywhere, and it holds the pen at the perfect angle for just grabbing it and putting it back without much fuss. My main issue is the price. Yeah, this is a nice pen and it's a cool design and all... but seventy bucks? Thats a lot of cash for a no-name pen... floating pen or not. Knock the price down to $40 and this will sell gangbusters, but i gotta remove a star for the price gouging. Otherwise it really is great.
