Arrived on time but did not charge... I hade to clip offf the adapte, it was not letting power thru so I wired the 3pin fem adaptor that i needed and start charging... OK so far...(=>

The charger makes a loud beep when charging the battery. Is this normal?

Doesn't seem to work as fast as my OEM charger but it does actually charge, so I guess for a cheaper version. It's working good enough for me.

Loud doesn't necessarily mean a bad thing in this case. I needed a right away replacement for a Senada Saber Pro 48V, 21ah battery. First off, many EBike companies recommend or very strongly suggest you stick with their expensive supplies charger that comes with your original EBike. I didn't want to pay $$$ for another expensive charger that would only fail again, that's where this awesome replacement charger comes in...First off day one, I've noticed a few things. It's very light weight, the cords are thinner and more mobile. Don't let these features fool you, it's an upgrade from my more thicker/bulky model.Man this charges faster than my old supplied one! A half charged 21ah battery took about 4 hours. But it needs to be monitored, the regular connection without any adapters fits just a tiny looser than the original. Any movement of the cord could interfere with the charge feature time.Seems very transport friendly.Lastly the fan...: I've never owned a charger with a fan before, so prior to this I didn't know what to expect. As the unit detected my battery the fan got louder and faster. Now this is kinda annoying charging in a workplace or living room apartment. However let's be honest, it's a great indicator of that the temperatures are being regulated. In addition, I also know when it's done charging. The fan will automatically turn off when complete, then you can unplug unit. So loud yes, but it has perks; can't wait to hear coworkers complain at work.It was 1/3 of the cost of an "official" name brand charger and it seems more reliable so far.One major con...the cords are short. If you plan on using this to charge your EBike while battery is on bike, forget it. Cord is not long enough to charge on the EBike itself. You must take battery off.Enjoy.
