Very bright and easy to install.

I only have a small backyard and a small stairs.the set is really nice to me: I put them on my small stairs to the backyard and just used all of them.They are super easy to assemble and easy to install.Functions:1. brightness-- do not expect them to be like flash light but they are definitely bright enough for you to see the stairs in the dark.2. solar panel: I think they are good-- my area can be foggy sometimes, but the light is usually good for the whole night.3. weather resistance: so far they went through fog, rain, super sunny-- all good.if the light intensity can be adjusted to save some power, it will be better!

These fence post lights are easy to assemble. The on/off switch is on the side opposite the solar collector, and they snap onto the lens section, which fits over the square baseplate that you screw to the top of a wooden post. The LED is tiny, and doesn't put out a great deal of light, but certainly enough to demarcate a fence line or gateway. The plastic material isn't terribly heavy, so I'm not sure how well these will hold up over time, but they look attractive and do their job.

These came packaged very well, so no issue with them getting damaged during shipping. All I had to do was set the switch to "on", and then snap the top on. I set these outside on a sunny day... and from the very first night, these have been shining beautifully on my back deck. I like that the order contains 6 of these. I've had these on my back deck for about 2 months now... and so far so good. The light itself is a very nice brightness... not too dim and not too bright. Along my deck these lights are perfect. I highly recommend!

I installed all six and wondered why they didn't light after six hours of direct sun.Then I read the directions more carefully and saw that there is a teeny, tiny little slide switch under the solar cell.So I took each one down and flipped the switch and bingo - that night they all lit. And they do last all night too.The light isn't very bright though. It is directed outward, not downward so they basically mark the fence line and really don't illuminate anything around the fence.

This basic solar light has more uses than post lights. I got these to light up my garden and bushes at night. They accent my flower garden in an eye catching appeal. See pics. They are easy to put together. Just throw the switch and they are good to go and they last the whole night.They are great to light the ground due to their low profile. They sit nicely in the bush to highlight the bush at night. Normally, the bush would not be seen. They only have two LEDs each but they are quite bright.I'm very happy with these lights. They may be used in many creative applications. And the light is free!

I am currently building a gate for my driveway. And I have three 4 x 4 posts. Two of them are at each of the gate doors. On those posts I put these lights on. They are fantastic!! It comes with a base that allows you to mount it in different was. I chose to put the mount over the post and secure with the two screws that came with the lights. They are solar powered so I don't have to worry about running electricity. And it gives off a decent amount of light. Not very bright, but just enough. For me, it's more decorative than functional. I really like these lights.I would imagine that over time, the sun will eat up the solar cell, like all other solar lights. But, in the meantime, I'll enjoy it.
