I'm surprised by how well this works! I actually feel like it is cooling me off.It is very light - maybe a touch heavier than a flannel sheet - but with a silky texture. It feels enough like a blanket that I can fall asleep under it on a hot night (I can't sleep under just a sheet), but it keeps me nice and cool.I'm using it as a first layer, with a light regular blanket on top, and when I get too hot I push the regular blanket off and cool right off under this. If I didn't have air conditioning, I'd just sleep under this.

This is by far the best blanket. I am a very hot sleeper. I’ve purchased two cool to the touch blankets- both pilled and I was often still hot under them. This blanket somehow manages to be soft and cozy but light as a feather. Even on one of our recent warmer nights I did not wake up sweaty. I have been able to curl up with it by my chin and not be hot it’s that good. I’ll either be purchasing a spare or maybe the throw.

My daughter sleeps hot (and we only have an evap cooler and not a/c) and I wanted to buy a thin blanket vs her big comforter. My daughter is sensitive to the texture and would only use soft and not scratchy. I ordered two different, more expensive!, ones (one bc it had a pretty design) and they were horrible. This is thin but actually cloth material (and feels like it) and soft. The light purple color is really pretty. And it's definitely good for this price.

I ordered light gray to keep it neutral and it arrived in perfect condition early with regular free shipping. First time I've used a cooling blanket or for that matter any blanket that is not meant to keep you warm. But one of my very old poly blankets is falling apart so I thought why not look for something newer and hi tech. This is my very first bamboo item of any kind and did not know what to expect. The reason I did not rate 5/5 sleep quality is that I've had a bit of a learning curve getting used to the feel. It's not quite yet warm enough here in the SE U.S. to sleep with only this lightweight cover so I'm using it as a layer underneath my lightweight comforter (suggestion from another review) and as it is so very lightweight, soft, drapey, it tangles around my legs and makes me feel trapped and I'm experimenting to find the perfect combo of putting it over my midsection where flashes happen but not wrap around limbs. I imagine in the summer I will use it alone and maybe feel more comfy. But I do rate it highly for lightweight and softness. Just be sure to follow washing instructions cold/gentle and wash in enclosed mesh bag and hang (inside) to dry. Honestly, I did not know the enclosed mesh bag was to wash in so glad I came here and read manuf. instructions above.

This is a soft, lightweight blanket and is cooling. I am usually very hot as I fall asleep and then cool off. Sometimes I find it to be too cooling as I am cold in the middle of the night and have to add a blanket. I think it will be perfect in July/August heat. If you sleep really hot, this would be perfect. Overall, great product.

I purchased this cooling blanket last year and I cannot say anything negative about it. It is lightweight but yet it keeps you comfortable all night. I wish it was larger in size because it comes undone in the bed easily. I am buying another for my guess bedroom. Also very reasonable in cost.

I wish I could give this 10 stars. I’ve been trying to find a thin but soft blanket for weeks and this was my fourth purchase. This blanket is super soft, like silky soft. It’s very light, but it still feels like a blanket. I can’t sleep with just a sheet but often a normal blanket is too hot after a few hours. This blanket solves that issue. Slightly heavier than a sheet but soft and cozy enough to feel like I a blanket but breathable enough to keep you cool. I’m honestly thinking about buying another one. I’ve never been so happy with a blanket. Seriously, if you’re looking for a blanket that helps with over heating this is the one! Oh, the green color is gorgeous too, deep rich forest green.

I really like this blanket as it is lightweight, soft and overall just a very comfy blanket however I do not notice that it keeps me cool during the night hence only four stars however I would recommend the blanket for general use.

The blanket can keep me nice and cozy and slept deeper n better since I started using it.

Really works - breathes well and is much cooler than regular blanket. Only gripe is that it is delicate wash and not to be hung out in the sun or tumble dried (per the washing instructions received with product) which makes it a bit of a pain to clean. I machine washed on delicate cycle and hung it in a shaded spot.
