I am very much against chemicals and solvents so these are perfect and natural. A functional practitioners first choice!

Happy to be done with plastic but the large wand is pretty unwieldy. Wish it was a bit shorter. The shorter wand rocks though!

The brushes are larger than I expected, and that’s good, because I got the long one to use with half gallon glass milk jugs we put cream line milk into. At first, the long brush wouldn’t fit through the 1 3/8” opening until my husband realized it was bent in a semi circle at the end, so he just straightened it so that it could get through the opening, and added a kink in it to reach the corners and shoulders.I was concerned that the bristles might come out easier, but so far, they’re in tight, but a couple bristles came out when my husband straightened out the long one. The big roundish brush is great for scrubbing pots and I used one of the bamboo scrapers first. It’s also great for bowls, and holds a lot of water in its bristles! The scrubber sponges seemed a little odd at first, but they do have scrubbing power, as I realized using one on a cutting board, because you can both scrub with abrasion AND have soap at the same time, which I can’t really get with my usual sponges. I’ll save my old sponges, too, though, because these can’t really get into tight places like they can.I love that everything in this comes with a loop from which to hang, because I actually hung the scraper and small scrubber sponge from my faucet, so they won’t get lost in everything around my sink.

These are made from natural materials and are the only brushes I ever use with my cast iron or carbon steel pans if I brush them. I don't want any plastic to get embedded in those so I am grateful for this product. Sturdy for the material but does get some wear quickly if you use lots of strength.

I love idea of wood scraper and no plastic but it broke so easy.

I love that these brushes and scrapers are made of natural fiber and not plastic. It makes me feel good about reducing my environmental impact and supporting a green business.The brushes and sponges are bigger than I expected, which is great because they cover more surface area and make the job faster. Plus, they have loops for hanging, so I can easily store them and let them dry.The kit has a tropical vibe that I really dig. The colors are bright and cheerful, and the design is simple but elegant. It makes my kitchen look more inviting and cozy.I don't use the "sponges" its a bit difficult to work with, and it starts to reek after a few days of use.

Great dishwashing set for the mindful. I have noticed the round sponges do have trouble with some of the more stuck on foods like melted cheese that has dried but overall they get the job done. I also don't feel like I'll need to replace these frequently, they've gone through some heavy use already and are holding up just fine.I would definitely recommend these to anybody who as a kitchen - like you for example!

While these bristles do shed more than other brushes, these clean so much better and I don't have to freak out when using them on the ceramic or stick-free pots and pans. These are just great little brushes that do the job better than most and the bamboo scrapers are perfect for the stuck-on stuff without scratching the surface.

I am trying to not use plastic for anything. Converting to only use stainless steel, glass and natural fibers & organic where possible without too much expense.This set is an excellent alternative and well made.My only issue is the bottle brush doesn't fit into glass bottles mouths but works well for my stainless steel travel tumblers ive been using the set daily for about a couple months now and its holding up well no sign of wear and tear yet.

Using Gaia Guys eco washing-up tools for a month - what can I say ? The short bottle brush is excellent, , the bamboo pan scraper a revelation! This box set provides a well designed bit of kit! Making life at the sink so much more fun!

I love the idea of plastic-free, recycled and zero-waste household products - which is what this kit offers. All the elements do seem to live up to the promise of being better (or at least less harmful) to the environment than the mainstream options which involve a lot of plastic, nylon and polyester. The packaging is even a biodegradable brown cardboard box.The reason I have given this only 4 stars is that all the elements are ok, and they do function, but in a rather basic way. The brush fibres are rough, even when wet, and I don't think I would risk using them on delicate glass or ceramic, or cutlery. They are also pretty big (and oddly, the dish brush is shaped more like a toilet brush). The potscrapers can't safely be used in my opinion on nonstick coatings for fear of scratching. The sponges are the most useful part of the set, in that they are rough when dry but soften up when wet - they are a bit big for cleaning smaller items but work well on pots and pans.On the plus side, as well as their eco credentials, all the parts of the set have string loops for hanging them up to dry. So there is a lot to say about this set which is good, but it needs a bit of refinement in the design to be really great.
