Makes a great turmeric tea!!

🍃You can’t go wrong with this. Super freshly ground turmeric. I use for myself and also sprinkle some on my dogs food for health benefits. When I run out I will be getting more. 👍👍

Makes a nice cup with a little lemon and honey. Tastes as you would expect with turmeric tea.

I got this to use as a “seasoning” in cooking. It would have to be ground down to use it that way and I don’t have a way to do that. Apparently, this is for tea. I have no desire to use it for tea. So it will sit until I can get a way to grind it down into a powder. It comes in a well-sealed zipper bag for freshness.

I brewed this according to directions, by boiling water and steeping 1 tsp, which isn't very much, of the Turmeric Root Tea. It says to steep for 5-10 mins, depending on how strong you want the flavor. I ended up steeping this longer, about 20 mins. Even with the longer steep time the flavor was nice. For me it was earthy and mildly spicy, without any bitterness.I enjoyed the taste, but I can see that for some it could be an acquired taste. I didn't add anything into my tea, but I could see adding other items, such as ginger, lemon or honey.I'm looking forward to drinking more of this and all the benefits of Turmeric.
