VTech VM345 Owl Video Baby Monitor with Automatic Infrared Night Vision, Split-Screen Viewing, Soothing Sounds & Lullabies, Temperature Sensor & 1,000 feet of Range

Got one 3 years ago but parent monitor stopped charging so bought new one.

Had to have the main unit replaced twice because it stops taking a charge. You plug it in one day and it just doesn’t work. Super annoying. It has to be a defect with this model because the company just keeps sending me new ones but at this point it’s more trouble than it’s worth. Definitely not worth the money

This product worked extremely well for the first 13 months. February 2019, the area where the wall charge is supposed to be plugged in the unit (female), would not identify the wall plug part (Male). Secondly, the unit started making an extremely loud screeching sound. You could imagine my frustration with it at that point since it i used to watch the baby sleep!! I have tried to contact the supplier but they have not supplied a means of which to do so. So, Supplier, if you read this, please contact me asap reference this defective product !!

We were really happy with this monitor when we first got it, but then things went south. The power cord is terrible. It's a very poor design. It doesn't plug in easily. You have to get the plug put in just right and it is especially difficult when you're in the dark and bleary-eyed from taking care of your little one. Our plug now only works intermittently and we have to jiggle it just right to make it work at all. A couple of times now, the plug has failed and the battery has run out and we've left our little man crying because we didn't hear him on the monitor. This could be a great monitor if this design flaw was fixed. The picture is great and the features are really good, but I wouldn't buy it again.

After about 1/2 hour, the screen goes dark so you can barely see anything. This was after about 30 days of use. My fault for not sending in the warranty but they usually are a hassle. Would not recommend this product.

Works surprisingly well , with a great picture and sound..Monitor has sound level leds , room temp. & talk button , has other features also / Would recommend......🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We bought this camera system because I liked the features it offered to be used with dual cameras. It was a gift from my baby shower and I had spent the time researching prior to picking it out. I was very excited only to be very let down. We opened it to be used just this past month (but because it was purchased in Dec we are unable to return it) and immediately noticed that the temperature was off on both cameras. They both displayed incorrect temps and they weren’t even consistent with each other. I figured that wasn’t a big deal, at least the camera worked - until last night when the parental unit crapped the bed at 3AM! It absolutely will not charge and continues to shut itself down every time I turn it on. I am extremely disappointed and will not be purchasing another one.

Love it easy to use and set up it does tilt and pan east and west just have to have it zoomed in to do so..
