I use this every time I get a shower. I admit at first it leaves a sticky feeling but once it dries it feels soft as ever. So far I haven't notice much of a difference with the firming but Imy daughter and I still love it

I was obsessed with the Sol de Janeiro Coco Cabana body cream for a few years. I haven’t purchased it for a while and it is no longer available on their website. This Palmer’s lotion feels and smells 95% identical to the Coco Cabana cream. The gel-like texture is spot on. The scent is very close but slightly less strong. The dry down is the same… slightly sticky for a few minutes but then it is completely dry. I loved that about the Coco Cabana cream because I live where it is hot and humid in the summer (and most of the year). Any other type of lotion I use in the summer leaves me feeling greasy and sweaty immediately out of the shower and worse when I get outside. I cannot attest to any firming benefit, but I will continue to use it as a body moisturizer during hot and humid weather. It keeps my skin feeling moisturized but not greasy.

I was using another Palmer's firming body lotion and decided to give this one a try. I thought with the warmer weather coming up, it would be a more seasonally scented lotion to use.I'm not thrilled with the scent but it isn't terrible and it dissipates so you don't smell it for terribly long. It is almost sticky feeling but without actually being sticky. I have been used to the silky soft feeling of the other Palmer's lotion before using this one so it was a little disappointing even though I knew it would probably be different because of the ingredients.It absorbs/dries in a reasonable time. I prefer to use this on my legs and continue to use the other Palmer's lotion on the rest of my body. Since I only use it on my legs, I haven't noticed any substantial firming of my skin but have also been using a firming lotion regularly before this one.I wanted to be more pleased with this purchase since I have been happily using this brand's products for some time now.

Love this lotion! It firms better than the $50 firming lotions. Will get magically get rid of all of your cellulite...um no, but it does just as good or better than its competitors at a higher price. The scent is mild and much better than the other Palmer's lotions that are a strong cocoa butter smell (I have a very sensitive nose). My teenage daughters have both started using it after commenting on how soft my legs were. My husband has also commented how firm and soft my skin is. I notice a big difference if I don't use it for a day (but I am in my mid 40's and my skin is not what it used to be). You will have to consistently use it. Only con some might say is that it is sticky until it dries, but doesn't take long to dry. I like it that it isn't greasy and keeps my skin firm and soft!
