This has helped with clearing my hyperpigmentation. It is a really good soap and yes I recommend. I DO NOT recommend if you have sensitive skin. My skin can take a few beatings. This soap has a great lather and smells good.However it does tingle and sting a bit for me. It’s a sting I can tolerate but maybe with sensitive skin it may unbearable so be mindful of that.I saw improvements within a week of using it it. I use it on both my face and body and it’s helped for the better. Has cleared up my acne(accept when it’s that time of the month, the soap could not combat hormonal changes lol), minimized the look of my pores, and brightened the dark patches and scars on my face.It is not a moisturizing soap but at the same time it isn’t stripping my face dry. Be sure to moisturize! Cause your face will feel squeaky clean.I have been recommending to friends and family.Update: Jan 7th - I still love this soap and it still works for me. The tingle has stopped and it could be because my skin is now familiar with the active ingredients.Overall 10/10Would recommend.

I’m a level 3 eczema sufferer since I was 4 years young and I’m 32 now so… I FUGGIN KNOW. It has made my skin incredibly soft without drying me out, but ya must moisturize. The dope part is that even though the soap isn’t moisturizing it doesn’t leave my skin hurting like even the praised castor soap.The lotion; could be a bit more moisturizing as far as cling(hour’s of moisture) Shea butter, clings, eucerin* clings, certain vegan lotions (C. Booth, lush, believe or not triple antibiotic ointment is GREAT for bumps-skin becomes smooth as silk). It’s been about 2 months of everyday to every other day use and my skin is brighter & thirsty so;Have a facial & hand moisturizer at all timesSunscreen at all timesHydrate, hydrate, hydrateUse the lotion regularly letting the lotion application seep in 30 seconds after your caressingUse moisturizing lotion in between usesIf you skip a day, that’s fine.Keep the soap in its own container, out of the shower, and dry when not using it(it’s one of those easily meltable products-don’t waste $£¥€)Keep lotion out of the sun even indoorsFor my fellow melanated folks. Whether you are a new falling leaf Golden or fallen leaf amber. Whether you are new tree bark brown, or 3 am kemet; these products will brighten your skin and lighten your skin a bit. You may even be asked if you are sick because it will bring you to the paler side of your complexion-you won’t “Michael Jackson”. If lightening is your goal, especially certain spots on your body, use products with 4% or more niacinamide. Exfoliate regularly. One trick is to scrub up, then off water, let the kojie soap sit for an hour (source-VERY dedicated friend with no sense of danger). I am using palmers bleaching cream and differin 8 hours apart, washing in between. YOU MUST STAY CONSISTENT. Even if you miss a day or 2. Cover up. Enjoy the process. Focus on your “darkest” parts when exfoliating (don’t overdo it, wound’s, skin break down, micro scars, hyperpigmentation, undoing your own work) STAY AWAY FROM SALTY FOODS (salt aids in dark scars). Definitely lightened the complexion of my face however it doesn’t completely remove acne scarring/ dark spots completely. I DID NOTICE THE DIFFERENCE IN THE FIRST 7 Days!!!

I’ve had issues with hyperpigmentation and this soap actually does work and I’m very skeptical when it comes to anything pertaining to my skin but it helps a lot, trying with my inner thighs now and I actually have some positive results.

The item was received promptly in October 2024. However, the expiration date was November 2024, which meant the product was old. I was really looking forward to it. Not cool.

I do not know if it is original or not, but it smells the same and there are three pieces in it. I really liked it. I will go back to buy it again
