Curved Tube Bead 2mm x 38mm Gold Plate (24)

I used these tube beads to make stretch bracelets with seed beads as favors at a baby shower. The bracelets were a hit! The tube beads look nice and worked pretty well for my project, though I do have a couple of gripes with them. First, it can be a little bit of a challenge to string them with stretch cord that is not very stiff, as the cord tends to bunch up inside the tube rather than feeding through easily. However, it can be done with some perseverance. The other issue I have is that the curve is a little more dramatic than the curve of a wrist, so they don't exactly lay nicely as a bracelet. To fix this, I pounded them a little flatter with a mallet and it worked well. This would probably not be an issue if the beads are used for a necklace rather than a bracelet. I did notice a little tarnishing on the rose gold/copper ones, and used a polishing cloth to take most of it off, but I'm not sure if that is an issue for the gold ones as well as the ones I wear myself are the rose/copper toned ones. Overall, these beads were a great value for the price and I'm happy with them.
