Finck Health ood Bio Bio Ayurveda Ghee (1 x 500 gr)

I got this item because of the high saturated fats, specifically short chain fatty acids like butyric acid. And because the ghee they sell in the super-markets here is highly questionable in terms of quality, I opted for the organic ones in Amazon instead. I consume butter too that's one of my main sources of SFAs but in ghee some of the short fatty acids I want are in higher concentrations and I don't need the milk part. It is also a very good source of MCTs.You can find good quality organic and grass fed domestic ghee but I see prices like £60/Kg which is much higher than the USDA/organic grass fed ones imported from US which is just crazy. So I am not going local just yet. You can also make it yourself with the silver KG but it won't be Ayurveda style. And you need to time the seasons for the grass-fed part to have it at a reasonable cost.I used it for some paleo recipes but I also to mix it with raw eggs, dark chocolate and coconut oil and consume it with my breakfast. A jar like this lasted less than a week which means I liked it a lot.

Delicious good quality organic ghee for a good price. Excellent for Ayurvedic cooking.

Tastes closer to hand churned ghee!

Good product but misleading description – jar states 480 grams, not 500 as advertised.
