Luca: Belles & Mobsters

Story is good
Reviewing the series... The stories are good each and their own twist but my problem is the writing for each character are the same, they all say the same and think the same and speak the same. They all have the same issues. So it makes for a boring read and then skipping pages because you already know their thoughts. To bad because the plots are interesting.

Sensational
Wow! I needed to sit back and reflect on this final story in the Belles & Mobsters series. For a start, I loved this series and didn’t want it to end, but as the author says at the beginning, throughout this book you pick up clues about more possible books to come, phew! 😁 Why? Because these books are that good and very addictive!Luca was one extremely determined man who, when he knew what he wanted went after it until he’d achieved his goal. He was of course, one tattooed hunk of a man who was a player, but when he saw the woman for him, that became his past and she became his future. He had a very dark upbringing, and although this has been explored a tad in previous books, it is here in this book where all is revealed.Margaret understandably wasn’t too fond of the son of the man who’d killed her father and she went to extreme lengths at times, to ensure she didn’t get ensnared in his charming web. Things of course changed and it’s only then that we truly see both main characters as the real them. I liked both of them and together thought they were a terrific couple. This slow burn romance, especially for Margaret, definitely wasn’t your every day type of romance. This story is chock-a-block full of lots of action and drama that made for one very exciting story, and I can honestly say there was never a dull moment. There was also an underlying mafia world problem that caused some major issues due to the unrest but 🤐 no more information from me.I can totally recommend this book and this whole series.

Amazing series end
Luca’s book us here and his obsession with Margaret rivals all the other mobsters in this series. EVEN Sasha. Luca has been playing the long game. We had our connection set up in his brother Cassio’s book. I had a feeling there was more to that marriage set up than was it showed. An initial interaction when they were kids, in a life or death situation. Chance meeting in a bar led Luca down a deep seated obsession. A one night stand in Vegas just solidified that obsession. The little girl was his bonus. Yet Margaret still hates Luca because of who he is, a King. She has no idea her baby is Luca’s and finds herself in some deadly engagements. There’s nothing Luca won’t do to keep his girls safe and get them home where they should he.That being said, somehow Luca is one of the few mobsters to get his wife to agree willingly. Margaret may have agreed to the marriage of convenience, but feelings drive through making it all seem very real.Secrets always have a way coming out and in the end cost Luca everything. I will say, I didn’t care for Margaret’s tendency to run. Especially when it was always into trouble. The psychotic nature of Luca came out and it was intense. I wish Luca made her grovel and work for it more when she finally came to save him. Despite that, their connection was always deep and strong, especially since it’s built more on talking than seggs.⚠️ darker themes, murd€r, ass@ult and abu$e ⚠️

Romance without rose-colored glasses
I read all seven of the Belles and Mobsters, and love all of them,Lucas was one of my Favorite, after Alexie, however Margaret I did not like as I like the other Belles, but overall they are great reads, love books where the characters are perfectly imperfect,.

I think she saved the best for last!
This was so amazing and a fantastic finale to the series! Luciano might still be my favorite but Luca was a very close second and this full story is by far my favorite. Luca was obsessive, determined, and patient. He knew Margaret was it from the moment he laid eyes on her. He knew it and so did everyone else.“One day, we’ll all sit by the fire, share tales of our adventures and yours might be the greatest one of all.”Margaret was strong and determined to be nothing like her mother. She was a feisty, strong, dangerous woman. I loved her relationship with Luca’s grandfather and their transition from enemies to friends to lovers to everything.

This book was a rollercoaster and some jumps were definitely unexpected. If they had been shorter, the line could’ve been developed further there but this book was great as it was. Honestly can’t wait to read the series to come on the children and St. Jean’s Arc!!!!

I didn’t want it to end.
Was so good I wanted more. The conclusion of this series was the perfect ending. While giving us enough hints of what we can expect with the next generation. This really is a binge worthy series

Can't believe it the end of this series
I've got nothing to say but keep it up EW, this series has been a marvel to read, from the waiting on a another book to reading the sadness & happiness in each book has been a pleasure & I can't wait to see what the next generation get up to especially the TWO set of twin at the J.O.A school, if you haven't already pick up book 1 of 'The Belles & Monsters' series, but tbh pick up any of EW books you won't be dissapointed

Luca and Margaret ♡
This story was a bit bittersweet as it marks the end of the Belles and Mobsters series but it's opened up the door for many other stories. The only open end I feel from this series is Tatiana I'd love a standalone hea for her ♡ Luca and Margaret's story was a nice wrap up to this series.Margaret had always hated the King name and everything it meant, the name that stole her father, the name that her mother betrayed her father with but Benito King was now dead and so it was his sons she took her anger out on. Originally arranged to marry Cassio she couldn't think of anything worse than baring the King name but Cassio had other plans that involved marry her cuzn and so he set up a plan to use Margaret unknowingly to sabotage their engagement, tainting her to void the agreement. But Cassio didn't know about his brothers obsession with the black haired beauty and so he placed himself in Margarets life and in doing so she wound up pregnant but she had no idea who the father was after meeting Luca at the masquerade party and spending a night masked with whom she thought was a stranger not the man she openly despised. Margaret lived with the shame she brought to her family carrying a child with whom she had no idea but Luca knew but he also knew her hate for him and when she disappeared taking his daughter in her belly he formulated a plan to make her his once and for all. He wanted to become her friend first and enlisted the help of his Nonno. Away from the pressures of her family to wed Margaret was a different person and so was Luca, they surprisingly got along and Luca hatched the idea to convince him to marry, a fake marriage to get both their families off their backs, of course to Luca it wouldn't be fake and he was convinced with time he'd win her over. But both Luca and Margaret hold heavy secrets and one thing is for sure secrets never stay hidden long, these secrets would rip them apart and when they come to light surviving the fallout will cost them precious time. Can a marriage built on a foundation of lies really stand the test of time or will their betrayal cost them what they cherish most once and for all.Definitely Recommend Reading 📚

Another great read , with everything you need in a book.
This book has it all ,hate , fear , anger , shattered hearts , all consuming love . It ties these families together throughout this series. It was so hard to put down this book . The writing pulls you into its pages . Thoroughly enjoyed it all and look forward to reading more from Eva Winners.
