We purchased these to put on our outdoor metal chair legs for our patio table and chair set. This is put on a new Trex deck. Although the bottoms of the chairs have plastic on them and the Trex deck is supposed to be scratch free, we noticed a light scratch already.So we purchased these covers, and they are nice. They are a little bit more money than other brands, but they are a nice quality and the felt feels pretty good. They work well on the chairs and grip well onto them well. I would say that also slide decently between the Trex cracks between boards well too. They feel fine to sit on and we have no worries that they will scratch the deck.I would suggest if you measure and are right on the cusp between sizes, go SMALLER. The cover bit stretches well and it is tight. You probably want it as tight as you can to keep water from going into the cap and to also keep it on the foot of the chair. You can always return them, but we found they can be stretched a little beyond what they can and they grip the chair leg very well and seem to be just perfect.We also used some slightly larger ones on the patio table. Those were angled legs not straight down. The covers (we got the same type but a different size) don't fit as well because of the angle that the legs come to the ground. That said, the rubber is tight enough to hold it on just fine.Overall, we recommend these and think they are worth the little extra price that they are as compared to other ones!

These are the perfect color and fit for our chairs. Make sure you measure this is the Large and our chair legs measured 1 1/4" X 1 7/8". They need to fit snug to stay on properly. I love how they really blend in with the color of the chair and the felt blends into the floor color. Very happy with these and I know we will be buying more when it's time for replacements. I gave a 4 star for durability because they look and feel durable but just put them on today.UPDATE: SEE NEW PHOTOS 3 months ago I put these on. As you can see they are still in great condition.No tears and still a great fit. They work very well on our bar stools that we use daily. I was going to remove and add new ones but all I need to do is clean them with my lint tape roller and probably won't need to replace them for another month. The felt is still moves smoothly across the floor. We have two cats and these do not collect hair like adhesive felt pads. Placing my order today for more since we used my replacements on two other chairs in the house.Another update June 2, 2024. If you haven't purchased these yet you should. I feel I don't have to worry about our hardwood floors being damaged since we have been using these. Placing another order. You could change these more frequently but there is no need to if you clean them as I suggested. I guess I average changing them out every 3 months by my order replacement dates.

I absolutely love these floor protectors. Not only are they protecting my floor, the felt on the bottom allows my VERY HEAVY iron and wood chairs to slide effortlessly. These chairs are extremely heavy and these protectors have ended having to pick the heavy chairs up when we want to utilize them. We just slide them with great ease and sit. Love, love, love them!!! worth every penny.

I bought these felt pads to protect my newly refinished hardwood floors. They are a little smaller than needed but they work. I actually like that they are a little small because they stay on the chair legs better. The rubber is very strong and the felt pad is a nice size. I hope the felt lasts a long time. I will update if that is not the case. I like the clear rubber so you see the chair leg not the rubber. I am so far very happy with them. They do slide on the floor but it has been a little humid here and they do stick a little to the floor. But when the humidity is gone they slide fine. The inside has a nice rubber bottom that helps to keep them in place.

These are substantial caps that seem to work well after a week. They have thicker felt bottoms, fit angled 0.75x1.5" legs, and do not leave a gap like some brands of caps.

I really like these protectors. They have a nice felt piece on the bottom and it fits well and the chairs slide good on laminate floors.

These are so easy put on, & they work perfectly. They’re well made too. Very happy with this purchase.

I really liked these caps initially. They look nice and don’t attract dust like other’s I’ve tried. I like how firm the felt pad is on the bottom. That helped cover the poor quality caps that came with my stools. Unfortunately, the silicone part that goes up the leg, does eventually start to tear… a bit sooner than I would like considering these cost 5 bucks per chair.

I have purchased 3 different type of leg protectors for my kitchen bar stools. They were all terrible, too small, too big, the felt falling off. Then I ordered these. They are fantastic, fit great, stay on, and the felt is part of the rubber. Perfect. Will definitely order again for other chairs
