Certainly not up to mark of a storied tea company
Tea is important to me, so I know when I get it right or wrong. This is not the sort of tea I would like to order again. There is almost no spunk in it, barely a smell that reminds one of the vintage Darjeeling teas, leave alone a Makaibari variety. I suspect that to make it 'affordable', this tea is just a mix of the the leftover leaves from all other pekoe varieties. On a bad day, may be one can go for it but otherwise, avoid this one if you can afford a better one, like Gopapdhara or Runglee Second Flush.
