Really nice and sturdy. I would have given five stars if the magnet on the wooden cover for the coin box was stronger. My 14 months old easily pulls the cover off because the magnetic hold is not so strong, so the fun of putting the coin through the coin hole is gone, as she just lifts the lid and puts the coins.

Toys are good value, however the English is very poor in the leaflets that come with it. We supervise during play as the jigsaw handles are glued on.

A great and sturdy item but on the small side for the price.

It’s really nice that this comes with a baby sign book and instructions which helps parents/carers to get a better understanding of what their child can learn from the resources.The object permanence box was really good concept. Very basic idea and is fascinating to a one and two year old. Fun little game to help with hand-eye coordination and motor skills as well. The tactile balls are strong and soft, suitable for little ones to chew on. These were played with a lot.Great quality. All the pieces seem well made and nice for babies and small children to handle.Quite pricey at £24.99

As a Nursery Practitioner, I am always excited to be offered for review any toys or resources which I can share with the children in my play setting. This is a very nice set of wooden and rubber toys which are supplied with a play guide and a First Signs booklet. In all honesty, I discarded the Signing booklet as it is not compatible with Makaton signing, which my Nursery uses. The set includes an object permanence box, which offers two coloured balls which can be posted inside the box, and a drawer which demonstrates that, although out of sight, the balls are still there. This is a nice little toy which will encourage motor skills and coordination alongside introducing object permanence. There is also a peg board shape puzzle, featuring a circle, square, triangle, oval and rectangle. These are brightly coloured and develop pattern skills, size and shape recognition as well as introducing colour. The sensory balls are great for little ones who like to explore the world around them using all their senses. The rubber is soft enough for little ones to mouth, without hurting their lips or gums, while the shapes and patterns on the balls develop sensory skills. This is a lovely little set, and wooden toys always last well and offer such a lovely experience for children, however I do feel it is a little pricey at £24.99.
