5.5KW 240V Heating Element with Mounting Hardware Compatible With Titanium Flo-Thru Balboa etc Hot Tub Most Brands, Universal Applicable in Spas Electric Heaters Or Swimming Pools

I ordered this to replace the heating element in the Balboa heater of my spa tub. The general geometry and mounting arrangement are very similar to the original element. It is designed to be a direct replacement inside the header body. Installation is fairly straightforward, but you'll be working with 240 VAC power, so don't try it yourself if you are unsure. It is nice that new gaskets for the union fittings are included. I can't speak to the longevity of this heating element yet but, otherwise, it appears to be a good product.

Only lasted a month then failed junk

This element worked okay for a few weeks then stopped working. Replaced after about 3 weeks.

Good price compared to pool or spa supply stores.Installed in a couple hours. I had to remove the control panel due to heater location. Adjustment was needed on the heater to align with opening in the heater tube. Work good at this time.

Waste of money!! I ordered this because I was leaving town and needed it quick. This lasted less than three months and I found my breaker tripped. Tested this and it had already failed. Outside of warranty window so SOL. Don't waste your money!!
