I like the funnel size and coincidentally fits my hand grinder! You don't necessarily have to be careful since it's like twice the size and magnetic.

In a word, it's "great". The eight magnets (vs. the four on the shorter model) hold it firmly to the portafilter basket rim, and the taller sides let me be more "energetic" with my WDT tool, with no grounds splashing out. I'm certain that if I choose to do so, I could grind the dose directly into the PF+dosing funnel, without worrying about any spills. I'm very pleased with my new dosing funnel (and puck screen).

I am very happy with the way this fits in my portafilter. The magnets align perfectly and I don't have any kind of mess when prepping my espresso. Price is a bit on the high side at ~33 considering that it is just the funnel with one puck screen. Other than that, it's working really well.

The media could not be loaded.  It’s IMPOSSIBLE to tamp all the way. The magnetic feature is great and the lip of the funnel is high but, I prefer to tamp my coffee in the portafilter beforehand. I made my point in the video. I apologize for my morning voice and naked nails in advance. In the video, I’m comparing this funnel to the one included in the Neretva 5 in 1 Espresso Tamper Set from Amazon. If tamping with the funnel on is not important to you then I recommend it. Otherwise, skippidy-do-my-darling.

Very happy with this product. Works perfectly to direct my coffee grounds without spilling. Good magnets - but can be knocked out of alignment if I tap it too hard. (Now I know just how to work with it.) Good quality, good performance, good price.

The dosing funnel is well made and fits the Breville portafilter but it doesn't fit the grinder on the Breville Barista Express so I couldn't use it at all. Minus one star for mentioning Breville in the title but not pointing out that it doesn't fit one of their most popular machines. That being said, if you have grinder it will fit, the magnets hold the funnel firmly in place and the funnel stays put. The screen fits nicely and does a good job as well.

The dosing ring seems sturdy, made from aluminum, with good machining and fit. I am using this in a 53 mm size for my La Spaziale Dream espresso machine portafilter. It works as described, the magnets attach the ring to the basket where it stays. I have a Caedo E37J grinder, and despite the mechanism that keeps the portafilter in place and activates the grinder, the funnel can stay mostly on while grinding the beans. Some pictures are attached. Also in the box was the puck screen, which is a nice touch, but I have not used it. Most importantly, the area around my gender is now much cleaner since there are no more stray grinds! I will use this to keep things clean, but am not sure if I would have spent the money to buy this at full price.

What an excellent coffee tool! I realize that this tool was designed for the Delonghi 54MM Bottomless Portafilter, but it works well with my Bialetti six-cup moka pot (see first photo). For years I’d had problems with spillover of the grounds when trying to pour from the grounds basket from by grinder into the brew basket of this pot. It was always a delicate operation, trying to center the grounds and avoid spills, though some seemed inevitable and I always did the operation over the sink to minimize clean-up work.This dosing funnel tool solves the problem! Transferring the ground coffee into the pot’s funnel basket is now easy and mess-free (see second photo). And with the dosing funnel in place, I can now use a WDT tool to distribute the ground coffee without having the grounds spill over the sides of the moka pot. A distribution tool providing slight compression then makes for an even extraction and consistently-tasty coffee!The IKAPE Magnetic Dosing Funnel Set is well made. The dosing funnel is nicely-machined aluminum with a black matte anodized finish. On the bottom are eight small-but-strong rare-earth magnets to hold the dosing funnel onto the pot while I pour-and-distribute the ground coffee.With the dosing funnel comes a 54mm espresso puck screen made from 316 stainless steel. This is not a part that I will be using with my moka pot, but it’s nice to have should I ever go full-on espresso.I will not say that this IKAPE magnetic dosing funnel set is the best thing since ground coffee, but it certainly does make pouring ground coffee a lot easier, minimizing cleanup, and making my morning coffee routine more enjoyable and relaxing. I like working with good tools, and this is an excellent one.I highly recommend this IKAPE magnetic dosing funnel set. I wish that I’d gotten it years ago.
