I love this mat! I had previously bought one on here that was 10 dollars cheaper and while the price was nice the quality definitly wasn't. The mat was extremely thin and the material was more of a fabric rather than a solid rubber. This mat is much more suitable for my needs since I do most of my floor exercises on hardwood floors. With this mat I don't feel a single thing and I'm able to do sit ups and other ab workouts without tearing my back up. Another great thing is that the strap that comes with it is very solid and can easily contain this monster of a mat. I did notice some indentation after my workout (similar to a memory foam pillow) but by the next day the mat was just like brand new.Another great thing about this mat is that since its more of a rubbery texture you don't have to worry about slipping and sliding all around the floor. The mat has a good thickness to it so you don't have to worry about wear and tear either. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and appreciate that a good quality mat doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg.

This is a nice pad but it is a bit thinner than I imagined.; I would not say it's extra thick. Still, it is fairly comfy. But you will need to be careful with it since tears seem to happen pretty easily. Also, don't set anything heavy on it for too long or permanent imprints will result. Our daughter made the mistake of putting 10 pound weights on it overnight to try to flatten it out; the imprints still remain weeks later. The pad is long and not all that wide. Since I'm just using it as an exercise pad, I could have used a shorter and wider one. But overall, it really is a nice pad that should serve its purpose well.

I don't do yoga on this mat TO BE CLEAR. I take it with me places outdoors and use it as a portable futon almost. I meditate outdoors, read a book, eat lunch at a park, relax by a river, etc. So I have no idea how it would withstand under an actual rigorous workout.For my sedentary purposes I LOVE IT. It's very pretty. It's comfortable. The foam is very high quality, durable, easy to clean, & does not seem to slip. The strap is very no nonsense and is really just an elastic band that you put on the mat so you can roll it up & go about your day. I admire the simplicity. No velcro etc.& for the price & 1/2 inch thickness I'm not going to complain. Also i don't know how the foam could be ripping for other people because I've put mine on rocks plenty of times and have yet to have a tear. I really think this is a very good $20 yoga mat or I just don't know yoga mat prices I suppose.

I bought two of these, one for my husband and one for myself. Both mats are very think and provide lots of cushion but are firm at the same time. We are new to yoga, but these mats seem perfect for our needs, very comfy and good quality.7/8/16 - After using the mats for some time, I can confirm that these were a good buy. I have problems with my knees (due to running) and the typical mats still managed to hurt mys knees. This mat is twice as thick as those typical mats and does not cause me to have any knee pain. I was initially concerned that they would slip around on the floor, but they stayed put, exactly as you placed them. They never moved through hour long yoga sessions. The strap it comes with is an added bonus. It makes it very easy to transport and store. I would definitely recommend this product and plan on purchasing more in the future as they are needed.

EXTREMELY impressed! I was worried that this may wouldn’t be thick enough. Boy was I wrong! It is amazing! Super thick and comfortable! You can actually use this as a bed during camping trips or a child sleepover, it’s that comfortable! My only complaint is the over packaging of the product! It was in a box filled with tons of bubble wrap all around it. After reading the ridiculous reviews/comments below about people being upset it had tiny cosmetic flaws. I now see why it was overpacked. *rollseyes. But if you are on the fence about this at all BUY IT! I highly recommend this mat. It is the best mat and I can tell will last a very long time. Very happy customer!

This is a good exercise mat for doing regular workouts in a gym or home, and is nice and thick for moves that put stress on your knees and wrists. The only catch in calling it a yoga mat is that it implies that its sticky on the bottom, which is important when working out in a yoga studio. This mat slides around (minimally, not too terrible but not ideal) and stretches out when you move through the traditional sun salutation flow. It is a nice mat that I use in my yoga studio, but you should invest in rosin to put on the bottom to prevent sliding if want it for long term use. All in all, it is a nice mat but not really ideal for those wanting to use it for serious yoga practice.

Très confortable étant 1po depais. Cependant, il pourrait être un peu plus anti-dérappant car il bouge un peu lorsque j'y fait mes redressements assis.

It is a decent mat and stable to do every exercise. Still expensive and cheaper options could be found elsewhere!
