Overall the feeder works. Three major things to keep in mind during setup that the instruction manual doesn’t focus enough on, and I had to watch videos of other buyers to figure out:1. When setting feeding times, the manual mentions that if there is no number (1, 2, or 3) displayed in the box, it will not dispense. What it doesn’t say is how to get the numbers to display and how to change them. Trial and error taught me that you have to press the + button a couple times in quick succession to toggle between the numbers to indicate how many rotations of food you want to be dispensed.2. Under the panel where the food is added to the chamber, there is a slider that clicks to allow you to decide how large the opening is when food is dispensed. Be sure to adjust it so you don’t dispense too much or too little food during feedings. It’s best to watch a feeding to make sure you’re happy with how much is dispensed before you set it up and leave town on vacation.3. If you select a manual feeding, it resets the clock. Be sure to check & reset the clock and feeding times after using the manual button.

Really easy to use and adjust.

This feeder's monitor screen always shows "one bar" (i.e., low battery) for the battery status when I use rechargeable batteries. I have tried many rechargeable batteries, recharged those batteries. No luck. I also asked for replacement feeder, no luck either. It looks like a product flaw.

Despite paying full price for this fish feeder, I recieved an item with a box damaged (from previous use) and loose fish food in the box and feeder. In addition to the condition of the item, my package was also missing the suction cup attachment!I am not against using used items, but not when I order something new. But if I am requesting a used item, I would hope that it has been clean/not full of the previous owner's food flakes.

This fish feeder works well in some of my mid-size tank. As I expected, it is not good for the small tank, such as 1-2 Gallon tank for Betta fish. It will be dropped too many food for Betta. For other Gold Fishes in my 30 Gallon tank, the amount of the fish food is enough for the fishes. It is great tool for feeding fishes and turtles when I will be away from home for a couple days.

This is very easy to set up and use. Set time and then choose up to 3 feeding times. Quantity dispensed depends on how many rotations you choose. Durable, it should last for quite a while.
