The pillow arrives compressed. I was able to slide off the outer plastic wrap, which was good, as I was concerned that scissors could damage the pillow. It takes a while for the compressed foam filling to expand; during this time, there is some off-gassing from the foam, so I let it air out before use.Once ready for use, the pillow is extremely comfortable. The adjustable filling is a good feature for those who want heavier or lighter fill, and there is extra filling provided.The bamboo derived rayon does a decent job wicking heat, and one side of the pillow feels cool to the touch from that - but, they only appear to have used that fabric on the side with the blue stitching. The other side has a different feel and is less cool. I do wish they had used the same fabric on the entire pillow (minus one star for only being on one side). Other than that, it is a good pillow, and a decent value for the money.

We have a few of the shredded memory foam type pillows inns our home. They are all comfortable and promote a good night’s sleep, and great neck support. This one provides the additional benefit of having a cooling side. Really wonderful for these hot summer months and for those who always sleep hot.

I have placed this to the head of the bed and resumed sleeping on my neck pillow - it is so much better. This isn't a bad pillow, but I guess once you have gone somewhat minimal in your choice of pillows, a bigger pillow just isn't your game.

this pillow is a good size and comfortable, plus you can add or remove the fiber stuffing to suit your comfort.

The package comes with more filler. What I like about this pillow, I was able to remove filler and make it less firm. I used the removed filler and the extra filler to make a small throw pillow from a quilted case a friend's mother had made for me. Love my new pillows.

The large pillow with the cooling effect, but doesn't really have memory. I would prefer it to be more compressible. Overall it's fine

UPDATE...the odor disappeared in about a week. It helps some for me, but I get very hot at night and must use AC also.Only used it for one night so far and it did keep me cool. Found it has a slight odor from the cooling foam. Hopefully the odor will disappear!

For the $20 price point I am really enjoying this pillow. Unlike with other pillows I did use all of the filler, I do like you can make of flat or also puff it back up- super easy to find your comfort

Was very skeptical about ordering a pillow off of Amazon as I couldn’t feel it but after reading other reviews it was a great decision. I was having such bad neck pain with other pillows and ever since this one I’ve never felt better!! I love that you can take filling out to customize it to you Comfort level!! Awesome!! Highly recommend!

I bought this pillow for my Dad, who struggled with sleep. His previous pillow left him struggling to get to sleep and he always woke up with a sore neck that lasted most of the day.After one night of trying this pillow, my Dad reported that he had slept beautifully. For the first time in months, if not years, he went right off to sleep with no issue. He reports that the sleep was very comfortable and that his neck didn't bother him at all when he woke up!He was so excited about this that he wants me to buy a pillow for myself and another one for him. He's also eager to play around with the extra foam that comes with the pillow to see if he can make his sleep even better. I don't normally write reviews but my Dad was insistent that I let the company and other buyers know just how amazing this pillow is.

A very comfortable pillow, it did have the typical smell that comes with memory foam but that did go away after a little bit so expect to wait to use it if you don't want to fall asleep to the smell of the foam
