We picked this up for our small pond. I am very happy with the rigidness of the net. The fabric is nice and tight so I don't have to keep skimming the water over and over. Also I like the size of the net.

The length of the handle is perfect for our hot tub, and the net is a very fine mesh and it was priced right.

I really came to like this skimmer, the netting was especially 'fine' & it collected 'yellow pollen' that other skimmers couldn't pick up. The handle is NOT interchangeable with any other attachment, what you order is what you get, but the short length allows it to perform just as the manufacturer describes. Unfortunately, with normal use, it broke right where the handle attaches to the net, no way to repair it, impossible to skim with it without the handle & it didn't last half the season.

Works great. Just make sure you buy the right length for your needs (made that mistake and got a super short one first, but liked it enough to order a longer one and keep both)

We have a greenhouse with a gravel floor. Weatherwise, we have had a typical Colorado spring with a couple of heavy snow storms. Each morning I have to set up a pump to remove about eight inches of water. There is quite a bit of algae. This net is PERFECT for removing the buildup. And sometime after the weather warms up, I will use it to catch a Woodhouse Toad that has come out of hibernation. Cheers!

I have a kiddie pool for my dogs so you can imagine all the dirt and debris it gets. This skimmer works great for the fact that the mesh is fine and gets out more debris. I like that fact that it has several extensions to make it as long as you want. The paddle it self is large to get a lot of leaves etc. I would recommend this product.

So this skimmdr is just about okay, it does a decent job but also has a limitation. For the price for which it has been bought, perhaps you can live with the limitation and the rating may still not sufferFirstly will start with some of the good things about this skimmer. The materials in the quality of build is actually quite good. The pressure of the water does not bend or Warp the rod and that makes it very usable. The color and appearance is also nice.And the net is quite decent and you can catch quite some stuff while using thisNow on to the key limitation of the skimmer. The shape of the ring around the net is the primary problem which is an issue. The front part of this ring is quite wide and when you try to skim it through the water it offers quite a bit of resistance and therefore it's a problem. You would have a hard time moving the skimmer in water do this resistance. Despite it being lightweight and strong, the resistance is high enough to make the usable experience not great.For the price, it can still be a recommended by but I'll be cautious.

I paid 50 bucks for this 5 dollar item. The mesh works really well, no disappointment there, but the handle is short. like a kids badminton racket. I am only cleaning a 5 foot tank, but it doesnt reach the bottom on the far side.

Light yet sturdy product. Will definitely buy again.

Very easy and handy to scoop up the bugs lying on the surface of the pool. Saves me from having to take the leaf skimmer off of the big pole.
