Mystic Moments | Vanilla Fragrance Oil - 100ml - Perfect for Soaps, Candles, Bath Bombs, Oil Burners, Diffusers and Skin & Hair Care Items

I was hesitant to buy this as although the ratings were high, there were many similar negative written reviews.Firstly, what people are already saying is true that it doesn't really even smell like a true vanilla. It smells like light spices such as cinnamon and clove mixed with vanilla which I don't dislike and honestly it will probably be fine for what I needed, but I've never smelt a "vanilla" like this. Avoid if you're seeking a true sweet and creamy vanilla fragrance as this is not it.Secondly the longevity really isn't great. I always test fragrance oils by dabbing a little on my skin and within minutes the vanilla note has died leaving a very faint remnant of the spicy elements. I don't feel this would perform very well in candles, soaps or cosmetics.

MM have changed their bottle caps. The new child lock style, in my opinion is overdoing it. Unless I have a faulty 2 bottles, it ridiculously took myself and family members all day to open it. Don't know what the need was to switch from safe, yet practical old style cap. Now open, the scent is lovely, and one of my faves from MM, however dropper seems to be extremely slow at getting product out, in comparison to my other bottles from MM. Unfortunately for me, these two key functions of the packaging let down the product as a whole. If these things do not bother you, then scent itself is gorgeous.

The packaging is nice but to be honest that’s about it, I wish I read the reviews as they are spot on! It does not smell like vanilla at all, it isn’t unpleasant but personally I can’t make my body scrubs with it such as a cookie dough scent because it smells nothing like it. Tried using it last night and the smell didn’t work with anything. Will not be buying again

After trying the 10ml one I decide to buy the big bottle as I really like this scent. The scent it self it's good but the drop system doesn't work at all. I have to remove the plastic cap to be able to poor the liquid into the humidifier, which it makes the whole experience a bit messy. I think the liquid is too dense to go through the drop system and even though I tried to widen the whole of the plastic cap, it still not working. It's quite a shame as I really like the scent from this brand. I had the same problem with the big bottle of another scent (coconut) of the same brand. Please Mystic Moments, fix this issue!!!

Is a very nice scent but not really vanilla... so actually wasn’t what I expected. That’s why I gave 3 stars for this...I’m not saying is not good... cause it is...is a really good smell...but it doesn’t have that sweet unmistakable vanilla flavor.However Few drops are more than enough to fulfill my entire home and I can still smell it also the day after ... so is long lasting, So 5 stars in this sense!Pay attention cause the dropper doesn’t work at all... so I suggest (if you don’t have one at home) to buy an external one, remove the cup and use one of your own...but actually this doesn’t bother me much. 3 stars for this.Arrived earlier than expected, well wrapped and with a very thick bottle!In the end is a good product and if you are not looking for that specific sweet candy/cake/biscuit vanilla scent is very good.
