I wanted this Kaftan for lounging around at home. Instead of jogging bottoms or a dressing gown. Just for those times. I am a UK size 10/12 and 5,7”. This was a perfect length and fit for me. The only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is that the colours are not as striking as advertised. Initially I was disappointed by this but they look quite glam on. Another customer stated that they smell when unpacked. I have to admit that they do. I washed them on a delicate cycle and just hung them on a hanger to dry. No ironing required. I think the reason they have an odour is that they are made in India and have problaby been in their plastic packaging in the hold of the aircraft, that’s all. They could also be used as a beach to bar coverup, they would be lovely for that too. Hope this is helpful.

Material was thin and felt nice, I am about 5ft and it came to just above my ankles, I purchased this because after reading the reviews rightly or wrongly I was given the impression that it came up large on some customers who suggested could get smaller size. IT IS A KIMONO AND HAS STITCHING DOWN EACH SIDE WHICH ACTUALLY SHAPED IT SO LOOKING A THE PICTURE YOU GET THE IMPRESSION IT IS A LOOSE GARMENT IT IS NOT. THAT BEING SAID I HAVE IT TO A FRIEND AND SHE LOVES IT AND IT LOOKS GOOD ALTHOUGH A BIT SHORT, SHE IS TALLER THAN ME

I bought this kaftan as I wanted something cool but attractive to wear at home in the recent hot weather and I can't fault this. Stylish enough to wear outside and comfortable to wear indoors I couldn't have bought anything better. As an added bonus I washed it by hand (for speed), hung it on a hanger on the washing line and within about half an hour it was dry and needing NO ironing. The fabric is lightweight so would be marvelous to pack for holiday use. I thoroughly recommend this item and will be buying another colour.

This is a pretty garment , personally I wouldn’t wear it out, but I am like that with all Kaftans.This is a very lightweight kaftan imo you’ll need a slip or long top under it if you go out in it esp in the sun as it is a bit sheer.Ideal for indoors though which is why I buy them.Some of the stitching is slightly puckered on this one hence only 4 stars.I’ve no idea how it washes yet, I will update if any problems.I usually handwash in cold water for the first wash.

Fits as expected, gets four stars as it's more 24 than 28 for sure however I wanted a 24 so it fits fine, also loses a bit as picture on the one delivered was much brighter than the more matt coloured one that arrive, however my wife is delighted with it and it looks fine

This is exactly as shown in the photo. Lengthwise, it comes to just above my ankles (I am 5'9"). I know the description says the kaftan is true to size, but I admit I ordered one size larger (24-28) to be on the safe side, simply because I wanted it to be loose fitting. I am glad I did because I feel the 18-22 might have been a bit snug. As it is, the garment is very flattering and the colour (red) is bright and cheerful. Perfect for taking on holiday.

It's polyester so contrary to suggestions of it being great to keep cool in hot weather it isn't! Sizing is on the large side but as expected for a garment of this type, would say length is great for someone tall like me as usually full length isn't! It's not great value for money though. It looks cheap and construction isn't great at all - the seam came undone on the first wash for me. Not a massive issue but for £18 you really don't expect to have to sew it yourself!

I purchased the red and purple. They arrived very quickly. Beautifully packed and not creased. The material is soft and the fit is perfect. The colours are vibrant and these kaftans are just what I needed, comfortable and smart, great for lounging around in and perfect if somebody pops in unexpectedly. I was so impressed I ordered the black too.
