Great. Durable and large wrist area so they are easy to get off when slippery and saucy. Easy to wash. Wash only the outside like you are washing your hands. Inside has slight material I don’t think you would want to get wet. These are the best gloves I’ve ever had for taking meat of the smoker. I’ve been a dedicated smoker for about 15 years.

I had a pair of heavy gloves and seem to have misplaced them during a move. They were about elbow length which is not needed. These are heavy and allow you to handle your ribs, brisket, chicken etc without an issue. In my opinion they are a must and avoid the need to try to do this stuff with tongs and forks. I recently used them for the first time and was very happy. They are heavy, but you don't need fine dexterity to move meats around on the smoker grill or remove them when they are done. I was quite pleased to find these.

I wish the size was included in the description. These are "XL" I have pretty average sized adult male hands and these things are humongous. Larges or Mediums would have made more sense for me, since I bought these for dexterity. They definitely work as far as heat protection for cooking & smoker applications, but the sheer size makes them unwieldy unless you have huge hands.

These gloves are amazing! They allow you to comfortably grab the handle of a cast iron pan to remove it from the oven. They also allow you to move your fingers independently, making them way more versatile than an oven mit. AND they’re washable! They really couldn’t be any better. The 12” length is good for use in the kitchen or with an average grill, covering about 1/3 of the forearm.

These are easy to clean, grip very well and very heat resistant. took me a couple of tries to find a pair that fit men's hands and weren't bulky/clumsy.

Our men use these gloves to handle tools associated with liquid asphalt (for paving). Tools get HOT and the liquid can splash on you, these gloves can take the abuse. Not sure what others are doing with their purchase, but the gloves work fine for us and 400° liquid asphalt.

The problem with leather heat resistant gloves is that you can't really clean them if you get meat juice on them. Thes you just rinse off. The are not as insulated and I would have liked, if you grab something rally hot, like a grill handle, you don't have much time before you need to let go. But they are very rugged and I think will last a long time.
