I needed some bar clamps ( 12 inch ) and read up on the reviews about the Shall bar clamps. I used them the day they arrived and they are just what I needed for a specific project. The sliding mechanism works smoothly and the tightening handle is easy to apply pressure and release. The only complaint ( and it is quite small ) is that the rubber grommet on the lower jaw of the clamp comes off a bit easily if you are applying the clamp to an angle. But they slip right back on with no fuss. On clamping onto a level surface that problem would not come into play. There is some plastic in the construction but hopefully this will not prove to be a detriment. For the price for 4 clamps, I am quite happy with the purchase.

Unfortunately 1 of the clamps casting is twisted and when you apply pressure in the glue up the timber moves... which is really inconvenient. The clamps look great and it a shame there is not a bit more quality control as per the sticker included in the box. I hope they could get to sort this little issues because otherwise they look great and put good pressure.

Great for smaller items you need to attach. My husband has a bit of a work bench in his mobile van and these have been brilliant for him in his line of work.

These feel very robust and capable clamps. They are easy to use by sliding into position with only a little tightening needed once in place. I found no flex in the arm and after tightening no movement in the clamp face.I'm using these for basic woodworking so they will never be under the kind of stress that they claim to be rated for. The clamps don't come with rubber covers so will need waste wood to protect surfaces. They do open very wide and the arms are a good length, so are ideal for use my mitre saw and work bench.The standard £35 price is reduced to £28 via a current Amazon voucher, which I consider acceptable.

I'm very happy with these metal clamps. Good thing is that we get 4 clamps in a box. I've been using some plastic clamps lately and after just few uses they broke. The metal clamps should last for much longer as they are stronger and sturdier. Time will tell how good these will be after few more uses. So far I'm pleased with them.

The media could not be loaded.  Excellent 6-Inch Steel Bar Clamps SetI got it for my University work, easy to use and provides solid pressure to mounting objects.very easy to lock and unlock, and I really fancy the colourvery satisfied and highly recommended!
