A Great Backpack
I was searching for a smaller backpack. The backpack needed to meet the following specifications:•Small, but not too small•Side pockets large enough to securely carry a 20oz cup or water bottle•A small zippered pocket on front for quick storage of small items•An external charging port•An internal pocket to hold a power bank•A place to put my tablet•inside pockets for storing small items like pens•modern and simple looking•Quality material that is water and dirt repellant•Easy to travel with, must have a luggage strap•Grey•Not expensiveMode: A-1 Color:GreyI quickly realized that finding a small back pack that also had these specs was not going to be an easy task. I read through hundreds of reviews, looked at countless pictures, and sifted through hundreds of styles. I even purchased a different back pack; only to be disappointed with the size. It seemed as though all of the smaller sized backpacks were small in height, but quite large in width. So basically, I could find a smaller backpack, but it would stick out like a turtle shell. It looked as though I was wearing a child's backpack. I also noticed that one of the hardest to find specs on my list would be the front zipper pocket. Most of the backpacks that had the front zipper pocket, stuck out pretty far because the pockets were too deep. I also had a hard time finding a backpack with a luggage strap. I quickly realized that finding a backpack with the above specifications would be a very difficult task... then I found this backpack. I read the reviews and tried to identify any problems that appeared to be a design flaw or a manufacturer’s issue. I saw a lot of complaints about it not being waterproof. It is not waterproof. It is water resistant, however. Water/liquid does bead off of it. I purchased the A-1 Grey, model. This company sells several different models and it seems as though all of the reviews are lumped together. This creates some confusion when reading the reviews on a specific model. The other frequent question was whether or not it had a luggage strap, like the pictures indicate. The A-1 model does have a luggage strap. It appears to be study as well. The side pockets are large enough to hold a 20oz steel cup. It is a tight squeeze, but it will fit. I actually like the fact that it holds it tightly. It will definitely hold a bottled water. The side pocket located on the side with the usb charging port had a little strap. This is nice for holding my phone securely while it charges. There is a pocket on the inside to hold my power bank. The backpack is wired with a usb plug for the power bank. This does somewhat concern me. I don’t know what the life span of it will be. If it quits working, the usb port will be useless. So far, it works perfectly. This backpack has a small zippered pocket on the front that is. Ice for gum and sunglasses. It also has two larger zippered compartments. The smaller compartment in the front has storage pockets for pens and other small items, and then there is the main zippered compartment for all of your larger belongings like your laptop or tablet. Many similar style backpacks just have one large compartment. I really like this feature. My iPad fits perfectly into the laptop pocket. The Velcro strap secures it into place. There is no padding on the bottom though. I can hear the sound of the bottom of my tablet hitting the floor when I put it down. This was not a huge problem, considering that the backpack met all of the other requirements. I simply put a little rolled up cloth in the bottom to cushion it more. I also have a protective case on my iPad, and I am careful about sitting my backpack down, so this is not a deal breaker. The only issue that this backpack has thus far, is that it will fall over. It doesn’t stand on it’s own when you sit it down, it falls forward. It might sit up if the bottom is full and contains something heavier, like a laptop. I consider this to be a small inconvenience rather than a major issue. I just lean it against the wall or chair when I sit it down. Some other reviews stated that the backpack had a strong “smell” to it. Honestly, mine just smelled like a new item to me. The smell went away after a couple of days. It wasn’t a bad smell, it just smelled new. I tried to consider the positive side of it, considering the alternative. Other than a couple of small, and easily remedied issues, this backpack is really nice! It fulfills all of the other requirements that I have for a functional, smaller, and clean/modern looking backpack. It is not a high end, expensive tech backpack. If you are expecting that, then you will be let down. It is a really nice backpack, especially if you considering it’s price point! You can’t buy a Toyota and expect it to have the features of a Tesla. I would recommend this backpack to anyone who wants to downsize, yet still have the space to carry everything they need. I have carried this backpack for a few weeks now. I have also traveled with it several times. If I end up having issues with this backpack at some point, I will come back and update my review.

Great backpack!
This is EXACTLY what I was looking for! I use a messenger bag normally for work. But always wished it had bottle holders on it. So I decided to try this nice backpack after reading reviews and seeing the photos of how it looks from customers. Plus I already have this great Grey lunch bag/box that is almost the exact same color and material and thought how cool would that be to get a matching pack! And I'm not disappointed. It's the perfect size. On the smaller/medium size compared to most backpacks, which is perfect for work. I don't want some giant high school kids backpack to take to work. I only just need to bring my Macbook Air and a few folders with me. So this is perfect size. Plus it holds a ton of other things inside. It's made of a nice durable stiffer material that is water resistant (not water proof. It just repels small spills or some rain, but is not 100% waterproof). It also looks killer in person. Real classy looking. And it matches my lunch bag/box almost to a T! So that is a huge plus as well.Has a bunch of great pockets on the front and insides to carry all of your stuff. Has a lock on top in case you think that is something you need. And has the aux + usb plug ins on the outside of the bag with the cords on the inside to hook up your electronic devices! Very coolAnd for me, the greatest thing about this bag are the tall deep bottle holders on both sides! It holds a 20-24oz tall Contigo water bottle or coffee mug no problem! Look at the photos. Most bottle holders on bags are pathetic! They're made of some cheap netting material or other cheap material. Or even if it's good material, it's so low, that the bottle will just fall out if you tip the bag the wrong way as they are so shallow. These are nice and deep and hold almost the entire bottle inside! So it's very secure. Now I can bring 3-4 different drinks with me to work (water bottle, coffee mug, protein shaker, and BCAA shaker) and only have to carry 1-2 of them, as the backpack can hold the other two no problem! And there's loads of straps on the outside to cinch things down and hook more stuff on to with carabiners if needed. Not sure about the durability obviously as I just bought it, but it seems good! The only thing I could ding the bag for is the kind of thin shoulder strap padding. It's not thick and dense like a really good backpack would have. But it's ~$20, so that is fine. I don't expect something at this price to be the best. But it's pretty darn close! It works and is comfortable. If you were going to hike or travel, you obviously might want to upgrade to a super high end pack with dense thick straps. But this works great for work or class.Overall this is just incredible for the price! I looked at local retailers like Meijer, Target, etc and they had packs of "similar" quality for 40-60!!! This is $26. Half the price and twice as good! No brainer in my book

Small, but good for a same-day or weekend trip
I’ve owned a small laptop backpack for many years. While the padding is nice to hold a 15” laptop, this unfortunately comes at the expense of interior storage space and lack of other features. Hence, I decided to get an upgrade. I just got back from a quick same-day RT flight yesterday, and here are my thoughts:Size: This is not very large, but adequate for a one- or two-day trip.Comfort: The straps have a nice layer of padding to relieve pressure on the shoulders and are generally comfortable overall. There is a strap that runs along the back (which allows you to hook the bag onto a luggage handle), but it is thin enough where it is not noticeable when worn. The breathable mesh fabric material ensures that the bag is sturdy without being too heavy. Pockets/Compartments: Despite the small-ish size of the bag, there are a number of pockets and useful compartments. On the front size, the diagonal zipper owns to a small compartment that is useful for travel documents, while there is also a half zip-around that opens into pen slots and other small compartments that are good for flatter items. There are even more small compartments in this pocket as well. While I didn’t try for this particular trip, I believe that this would fit a very small packing cube.Durability: No issues when I took I used this for my same-day RT flight. The fabric feels durable enough, and there are additional straps that go around the bag to increase the sturdiness. As an added bonus, there is a zipper lock on the top of the bag for added security. In summary, I like the size, comfort, and durability of the bag and plan to use this for 1-2 day trips. There are also a number of compartments that can be useful. I recommend this bag to anyone who needs an upgrade for short trips!

Surprisingly roomy
The straps are comfortable. There are multiple sections, 2 large ones, one for laptop the other for books. Both about the same size. There is a medium size partition, useful to throw in my phone or a water bottle or a sandwich when going on a bike ride. The smaller partition is tight fitting and awkward to access which basically can only very slim things you would rarely access, like letters booklets, pamphlets, maybe the manuals for the devices you are carrying. All compartment except smallest one have 2 slider zippers. there is not interlocking loop you often find on double slider zipper to allow for a cheap lock, however the you can still tie the 2 sliders with the tabs and a cheap lock. The zipper with single slider for the small partition cannot be secured.Other sections smaller sections, including inside and outside mesh pocket. The inside mesh partition is holding my battery backI like the USB connector which would allow a device inside to connect to a device outside, me I have a battery inside to allows recharging my phone while I'm using it. However I feel they should have gone all the way and have a connectors for all compartments big enough to hold an extra battery pack.Personally I only use it for groceries so I don't know how well it would hold up a every day carrying a full load of books and laptop. but it seem pretty well build with sturdy material and the edges are well sown.

Brilliant
I'm absolutely loving this bag. The area for the waterbottle is nice and deep, so it doesn't fall out. The inside pockets are great. I haven't tried the USB thing yet, so I can't comment on that, but the laptop part looks up to the job. My favourite thing though is the zip pocket in the area of the back pack that faces your back, as it's discrete and super useful for train tickets and important things.
