Lovely, lovely book
Amazing story, beautiful book. Read it while eating delicious homemade winter soup in her Cafe Murano in St James's the other day, where I think the excellent Sam Williams (no relation) is the Executive Chef. Really good Sardinian wine alongside and a good read warmed up my entire week. The stories and pictures about her (Itallian-Welsh ) family in post-war England were very touching.

A lovely book
Chatty, family-oriented Italian home and restaurant cooking. Excellent recipes not too complicated.

Italian cooking dream cookbook!
Angela is a supreme chef and has earned herself the praise of Gordon Ramsey and other elite chefs the world over! This is great to read some of her personal history and family cooking and to have her explain how to do it with awesome pictures and detailed steps with some possible different ingredients is just great! I love pasta and to see how with a little effort and home made pasta how this is several steps in class above most Italian cookbooks!Highly recommended for the Italian cook or chef.
