This came in a plastic mailer bag with no lid and the heat seal still in tact so if I open it I have no way to close it.

I add this once a week about half of the recommended dosage for my 29 gallon marine tank...any more than it raises the salinity...so a lil dab will do ya. Fish & corals happy. I check the salinity weekly...all in check at very normal levels. Great product, great value.

I got this as the recommended product for the Reef Moonshiner's program, to supplement Iodine as a trace element. I send ATI ICP tests once every 1-2 months, and the ICP test proves that this is effectively supplementing Iodine in my reef tank. I use only one drop a day in a cobalt blue glass dropper bottle, as Iodine can be degraded from having the container open for too long.I recently learned that activated carbon will absorb Iodine, so if you are running carbon this is probably a good bet. I can't speak for how much to dose, but I wouldn't dose anything that you can't test for. I'd recommend either ICP testing or an Iodine test kit to go with this productm
