With two dogs running in and out all day I needed a larger mat that would at least stop the worst of and mess, and this does. It gets wet and dries quickly, it gets dirty and vacuums well, and it looks like a quality well made mat. This is my second Hug mat and neither has disappointed. There are much cheaper mats out there but they won't last like these, or look as good.

I'm so glad I bought this lovely doormat. Not only does it look attractive, it's soft underfoot, catches most dirt, and is a doddle to wash in the washing machine (30ºC). Plus environmentally friendly being made of recycled material. The only downside is with this paler colourway, dirty wet autumn shoe prints and cat paw prints show up too well and make it look grubby in no time. So I'm buying a darker pattern for the autumn/winter months! Will be sticking to Hug Rugs from now on!

I bought this mat in November 2018. It gets solid hard wear - muddy paw prints, muddy boots etc. on a daily basis. Unlike other mats which I have had to wash to keep clean, this mat works best when you let the mud dry and then give it a quick vacuum. It comes up looking brand new! I love this mat so much, I am getting another one for a different thorough-fair.

This is my second hug rug and it is just as good as the first.It really traps the dirt when you wipe you dirty shoes on it, it only shows up the dirt if your shoes are covered in mud like mine can be after a walk through the fields in my area.It is waterproof, as my puppy had an accident on it and no damage (or leakage) onto the floor underneath.

Had this rug a couple of weeks now and I love it. It grips the floor (vinyl planks) so well that it doesn't even move when you vacuum it. Dirt just seems to vacuum straight off and mat still looks lovely. Soaks up any wet from shoes very well. Will be getting another for the back door.

This is a beautiful rug and so soft that my children wanted to lie on it! However, the moment it was washed and dried, exactly as specified on the label-- I paid £70.00 for this and wanted to look after it properly! -- it loft it's softness and the pile went flat and now appears dull. It also lost its flatness. So now sits 'bumpily'. I'm afraid that although this is a rug that works pretty well in terms of absorption (though it has no effect on cat paw prints- I guess this is because cat are pretty light, but still she walks right off the mat leaving footprints across the floor), it just doesn't deliver what it promises in terms of looks. I could have bought a far cheaper less beautiful doormat, I fact I could have bought two for the price of this one, and probably would in future.

I now have three of these beads so it's obvious I love them. They are very absorbent and best of all you can wash them in the washing machine when they get grubby. I've had one for about 10 years and it's as good as new even though it's been washed about a dozen times. They cost a bit more but they last longer and I think look great.

Love these mats, this is a second purchase of different design for different door. They wash easily and come up as new. Super absorbent. First one has had a lot of wear and tear, including a young puppy, but looks as new. They aren’t cheap but worth every penny.
