Compact, functional, but not a nice water flow.
This replaced item https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01MS8QHYB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1, which broke within a very few months of use.The new tap was only installed by my handyman a couple of days ago, and it's OK but I'm disappointed with it.I should have paid more heed to the reviewer who mentioned the water flow not being aerated (or something like that) and I do find the flow unpleasant on a highish setting - kinda heavy and uncontrolled, not smooth. Don't know how to describe it!The tap itself is easy to operate, and it fulfills the need to be compact - there isn't a lot of choice of swivel mono basin taps with central control, so I'm stuck with it.

Design Aesthetics & Fitting advice
Clean minimalist visual design and overall low price on the positive side, but the designer was probably not the sharpest tool in the box when considering the operational functionality of the taps. These taps were used to replace a 3 hole set in a bathroom wash basin that had a high fixed center spout which was intrusive when trying to wash. The Hudson Reed replacement was chosen due to its lower spout and swivel action which it was believed would make for easier access. The Hudson Reed TEL337 Tec lever kit comes with only a generic 3 hole fitting guide. There is No reference to Hudson Reed on the accompanying paperwork or install guide, but it does refer to a "Guarantee & Aftercare" statement but fails to give any contact details. (could be made in China for all I know)The kit has 2 12mm tubes for connecting the taps to the center spout. These are straight pipe approx. 15cm in length. 12mm pipe like this is NOT the most standard used and would require cutting & bending to allow the taps to connect to the spout. I would highly recommend you dispose of these pipes and buy 2 x female flex connectors which will fit the tap outlets & spout connection. ( So much easier if the manufacturer had supplied these as standard and they are not high cost items)When assembled I found that the tap levers then faced into the basin when the tap was in the off position. To operate the taps the Hot tap turns clockwise away from the spout and the cold tap turns anti-clockwise away from the spout. The biggest problem here is that the two levers do then protrude into the basin when the taps are off, meaning that they are another item that you can catch your hands & face on when using the basin. It would have been so much better if the design had accommodated the levers to be pointing away from the main spout when switched off.As far as durability goes, I await to see how they perform.

Really good bath mixer taps let down by shower head
I ordered this to replace the tired old mixer tap on my bath and with one minor exception I've not been disappointed. Superb engineering quality is evident in the manufacture and the tap really looks the part and is easy to keep clean. Together with a matching sink mixer these taps have transformed my bathroom and made it look so much more modern. The only negative is that the shower head is very cheap and, when put in the supplied mount, sprays out horizontally. Clearly then this isn't meant to be a shower head but then neither does it provide enough spread to, say, wash your hair. Fortunately I'd kept my old shower head and mount and have continued to use those instead. Its a shame that the shower head lacks - but frankly even with no shower head at all I regard these taps as excellent value for money.

Nice set of taps for a 3 hole basin, but with one small issue.
Nice set of taps for a 3 hole basin, but with one small issue. The pipes that link the valves to the spout are solid brass requiring the valves and spout to be in a straight line at the same height. The holes in our 3 hole basin ( and probably most others ) are not in a straight line; they are on a slight curve and are not at the same height because the top surface of the basin is uneven. Consequently I needed to find some 12mm o/d flexible plastic pipe to use in place of the supplied brass pipe. Once I had sourced this flexible pipe I had no issues installing the taps.

Good brand
Good product and well made. The tap lever is a little on the big side which makes it look a bit clumsy. As this screw in some alternative sizes would be helpfulHowever, it works well and does the job. It looks fine in situ.

Easy to instal
Solid piece of work. Fitted my corner basin perfectly. Water runs without splashing. Handle and spout work as they should. Easy to instal. Would buy again.

Pull the lever outwards
Nice tap, works well and looks good, not overly impressed with the design tho. You rotate the handle left to right for temperature but you have to pull the lever outwards for the water to come out. People visiting my bathroom complaint the tap don’t work until I show them how. Overall pretty good quality so far

You need flexible hoses to fit these taps.
These taps look good and we checked their suitability with our plumber before ordering them. Unfortunately he needed to get flexible hoses to make the taps fit because the brass connectors that came with the taps didn’t line up. He contacted Hudson Reed who admitted that was s problem and suggested we complain through Amazon to reclaim the cost of the additional hoses we had to purchase.
