Good quality harness for medium dogs.We had some trouble selecting what size we need, but this one fits a 3 year old Dandie Dinmont perfectly.Our dog took to it immediately and she seems perfectly comfortable, with a nice big padded chest strap, and good quality straps and clips all round. She has always had a collar, and we thought she might object to this, but it fits her so well, she hasnt complained at all.Just to point out, if you intend to use it for walking your dog, its totally fine BUT the lead will attach to the seat belt clip (whihc is in turn attached to a strap about 30 or 40cm long),. so you will have a bit of extra length from hand to dog. This seems to have worked out well for us since the Dandie is so close to the ground, most leads were a bit too short, leading to her pulling more than she does with this harness on...anyway...good product.

This is a great product to keep your dog secure in the car. Can be plugged in as you would a seat belt as it has a universal fitting, or there is a section that you can pass your car seat belt through and plug in your own belt. Our puppy suffers car sickness so this is better than him traveling in a cage as he can be sat with someone for reassurance. The only negative as other reviewers have said is that it may become tight to pass over the dogs head as they grow, as there is no way to adjust that section but don't let that put you off. Very easy to put on as it clips under the dogs body each side rather than you having to feed their legs through straps. Great product well made.

So I’m another person to say the “lead” part is ridiculously short. Please hear me on this. It’s crazy short to the point my working cocker would have to be completely laying down to click it into the seat belt.The chest harness is perfect with lots of room left so it’s not a size issue.It fits him well, he’s just not a dachshund!!I’m hoping using the seatbelt through the handle loop will work better next time.Besides the stupidly short “lead”, it’s a brilliant seatbelt really well made. The harness is soft and padded and it really does have seatbelt material for the restraints which is precisely why we purchased this. To keep our boy safe in the car.Wish they would just extend the lead so the poor thing can at least sit in the backseat.

I have had this product since 2012, so it has been given a thorough testing. I have a border collie that LOVES to walk, run, chase, pull - you know the score. Before I bought this, she had a normal collar and lead. She pulled so much with those, and either choked herself and gasped for air, or became Hairy Houdini and escaped her collar. When she was in the car, she would pace back and forth across the backseat - fur and slobber flying, but happy as a lark just to be going somewhere. So we bought this to solve both problems. When this product arrived, we found it extremely easy to fit on our dog, and easy to adjust to be snug. We tried it in the car, and while it snaps in well, she still was able to move about and stepped on the buckle and released herself. Yes it works - but perhaps better suited for a calmer dog. (now we have a cage in the back of the car by the way). BUT - this product is EXCELLENT for walking her, and we have been using it ever since. It is still in good shape and the connections are still tight, despite daily use. We use our normal retractable lead and connect it to the car buckle end. No more leaning dog when walking!! Its so much easier to control her and she is happier (and can breathe better for it). My partner and I highly recommend this for any dog owner.

This is a really excellent harness, well made and sturdy, with a comfortable chest plate. The way it plugs straight in to the seat belt is fantastic, and she is happy walking in it as well. The reason I have given it 3 stars is that although it is adjustable, the straps slip back into a loose position as she walks & I am going to have to sew them in place. I bought this for a dog with a girth of 53cm, & it has to be adjusted to its smallest possible size. I could have bought an extra small, ( the one I bought is 'small') but I was worried it wouldn't fit, as she isn't a 'toy' dog, but rather a little mongrel of roughly Jack Russel size.

We bought this to keep the dog safe, and to avoid being fined, as legal requirements here demand that dogs are restrained in cars. The harness part is snug and comfortable, with a wide, padded front section that is almost like a breastplate for the dog. She is very good about having it put on, although she is not 100% happy about having anything slipped over her head, and seems very comfortable and happy once it is fastened (two clips, one under each 'armpit', the same style as those on child harnesses) Unexpected benefits are that she settles more easily and is more relaxed in the car than when she is not wearing it - maybe because she doesn't feel as if she could fall off the seat - and she walks calmly and doesn't seem tempted to pull on the lead when she has it on.The only slight disappointment has been that she can wriggle out of it, and does do so if we leave her in the car, for example while unloading shopping. Having it anchored to the selt-belt clip holds one end still and gives her something to pull against to do her Houdini act. She never tries to any other time, so I would not hesitate to recommend the product to anyone who wants to keep their dog safe and secure in the car.

Have only used this product for securing our dogs in our vehicle. It is well made.Happy that I was able to find it on Amazon!

We drove from Texas to Maryland with three dogs and needed a way to manage each dog while driving and to safely control each dog while they were in and out of the car at rest stops. We purchased a Clix harness in small, medium and large because reviews suggested it was well made, easy to use (it clicks into the car seat belts, and once released from the seatbelt, the metal insert at the end of the lead can be used with a leash. We were happy with this purchase. They are well made, and the metal loop that inserts and clicks into the seat belt reliably stayed inserted in the seatbelts for each dog (even with our hyper active 130 lb black lab), allowing us to take each dog, one at a time out of the car at rest stops (eliminating the possibility that another dog would fly out of the car during the process). They are sturdy,and seem comfortable for the dog. Once released from the seat belt they are easily attached to the leash for a walk. We would buy them again. The one improvement I would suggest is making the lead that actually clicks into the seatbelt a little longer to allow the dogs just a bit more movement while cllicked in.

El primero que tuve lo compré en el veterinario, mucho más caro que en Amazon.No me indicaron bien la talla y como quedaba algo holgado, mi perro se entretenía mordisqueándolo en los viajes y lo terminó rompiendo.Comparando con otros modelos, opté por repetir, pero esta vez me he tomado más en serio lo de la talla y tomé las medidas de mi perro para ir sobre seguro.Se ajusta a la perfección, se nota que no le molesta y ya no tiene la facilidad para morderlo.Es resistente y estoy segura de que va a durar tiempo.100% recomendable
