My stove is a bit small. I could have measured from front to back but side decide was thirteen inch so I went with this one and i'm glad I did it gives more air flow but Still allows the wood on the grate

I live in the central coast mountains where it is misty, cold, and gloomy most of the day and a good fire is essential to warm up the house and feel comfortable. I use my Osburn wood stove daily and needed a grate to allow for better circulation and a more reliable fire. I was very selective in my search and saw plenty of reviews for similar products that broke or cracked in high heat, which is unacceptable as high heat is part of the product's purpose. It is solidly built, and so far has handled fires that did get a bit bigger and hotter than I would've thought. It allows me to control airflow around my fire when used in conjunction with the vents, and that makes a huge impact on getting the results I want. I really enjoy the additional benefit of the slats letting the smoldering embers fall through to heat the next log from the bottom with great ease. If it survives this winter and doesn't fail structurally, I am getting another as well as gifting them to my friends.

We heat the house with a wood burning stove. In the past we've purchased a steel grate from HomeDepot and Lowe's only to have the product bend after the first week of use. This one has held it's shape through the last few winter events without issue. Form has not been compromised by the heat. And, it's made in America!

Very well made steel grate with thick legs and the base is curved perfectly to hold the logs! We have a Papa Bear wood stove and it fits perfectly with great air flow! Highly recommend!

I have been using the grate in my fireplace. I have found it to be sturdy and of good quality. I use larger pieces of wood as my fireplace is quite large, so next time would consider a larger grate to better accommodate my wood.

Not easy to find a small version of this product that fits into the smaller Wood Stoves but this was it. Clear instructions came with it. I am not sure why these grates tend to be on the expensive side - they are after all practically solid steel with few frills although the price is competitive. Happy with the product.

Easy to clean, love it

Been in our wood stove for months and many fires now. And well, It's still just sitting there like it was on day one. No sagging or warping or damage of any kind! Pricey, but worth it.
