Gave this to my daughter. She enjoys assembling these kits. The finished product was great. All pieces accounted for, directions she said were a bit different than other brands she assembled, but the product itself snaps together well and is sturdy.

I don’t understand why Kevin is not in the UP project, but this little guy, with his dog friend Doug, really completes the scene. This kid is an excellent addition for any UP fans, because, gave it, Kevin is really the star.Blocks are fully compatible with major brand bricks.

Great family building game, my son loved building this

The only complaint I have is the colors are off. Other then that they are great.

My grandson loves the movie, especially Kevin, so we got him the Lego Up set but it didn't include Kevin. We bought him this Kevin to use with his Up set by Lego. He loves it and had no problem with assembly.

I was drawn to this as my son and I recently finished building the "Up" house from LEGO. I thought this would be a cute addition to it, but I was a little hesitant to purchase it since it was made by a generic manufacturer. I wasn't sure how the quality would compare to actual LEGOs. Surprisingly, it is better than I expected, especially since this item was only $11.99 at the time of ordering.This set arrived very quickly and was in excellent condition upon arrival. Both the individual character bags and detailed instructions were enclosed in a sturdy, white box, making this item suitable for gifting. The building pieces look nearly identical to LEGOs. The only difference is there a small dimple on the top of each brick vs. the LEGO logo. The pieces were as vibrantly colored and as smoothly finished as LEGOs. I thought they felt a tad bit lighter, but just barely. I have not tried mixing any of the pieces with actual LEGOs, so I cannot comment on alleged compatibility.My son initially started building the bird by himself, but became frustrated because some of the pieces wouldn't hold together well. I also observed this when I stepped in to assist him. In particular, one of the pieces that sits up under the wing kept falling off, one of the legs kept popping off, and the neck kept wanting to flop over. I finally managed to get everything attached, but they fell off as soon as my son started moving it around. I reattached everything and told him that Kevin would just have to be a "display" piece outside the house. The Dug figure is much more secure and only took about 15 minutes to build. Both its head and tail are movable, which is a nice touch.Overall, this is a nice set. Even though the bird is on the fragile side, I still think this item would be a cute gift for "Up" fans.

My kids have the Up house Lego set, and I saw this as a perfect accompaniment. I think the quality is above average for a non-branded set. The pieces were easy to assemble, with very clear and simple instructions. The colors are vibrant and the characters are easily recognizable. I just love it and my kids were thrilled!
