will never use chemical dye again
so as the headline suggests i like this, my sister decided to put some horrific highlights in my hair which i hated and they turned a unslightly egg colour..sooo looking for an alternative i bought some henna waited a few months before attempting it as the bleached hair and henna do not combine well, first time turned out a bit green as it hadn't oxidised completely but after a couple of days was a deep brown, i mixed both henna and indigo for a dark brown, i have since then done 4 more applications and found that the highlights are no longer obvious and it covers the few greys i have, turns them a fiery red which is quite nice my hair is in such better condition i will continue to henna and i just began not using shampoo and conditioner slightly oily but hoping it will soon balance its self out..try henna at least once you will not use chemical dye again :)

Works beautiful if you fallow the instruction and recommendation!
I have to admit that i have been nervous about the the hole process but it turned out to be what i was hoping!I needed a change so i had my hair dye...some highlights. My natural color is dark brown almost black. As i couldn't get used to being blonde(esh)I badly wanted to go back to dark color but without using the chemical dye. So i have waited for cuple of months and done some research...and bought this two.(Henna and Indigo).I think the pictures speek for themselves. The package comes with instructions reed them ,is important!I have kept henna over night. And I have put on the Indigo in the morning after washing henna off.I kept the indgo for about 5h.It is messy but...hey,cooking or baking sometimes can be messy. Will buy again!

Quality item
Great product, have used consistently for a couple of years now to cover white roots with dark brown/black shade- chosen specially to avoid use of chemicals since became allergic to very low minimised PPD amounts in dye at a good organic hairdressers. I prime the henna with warm water in glass pyrex container covered in clingfilm, place in very low oven for approx 20mins until starts to cure, use henna first for an hour, then washout and use indigo for approx 50 mins. I use a teaspoon of coconut oil mixed in to both to prevent dry hair. Comes out nice and glossy.

DOES NOT COVER GREY HAIR
I have used the Organic Henna and Indigo twice now and sadly it does not cover my grey hair.

amazing
This is the best thing ever. Im allergic to hair dye and am going grey. Everyone tells me to accept going grey but I dont want to because I dont want to look older than I am. Ive been allergic for years and get more upset as my grey hair gets worse because there's nothing I can do about it and then someone told me about this. I didnt think the henna would work because I've tried henna before but it didn't do much but this one was brill and made my greys red and added nice tones to my dark brown hair. I then used the indigo leaf and cant believe I have no grey hair anymore . I nearly passed out due to excitement . I cant believe it. Im so happy x

Just wonderful, I have long hair with quite a bit ...
Just wonderful, I have long hair with quite a bit of grey. It is also pretty wild curly and sun damaged. Using this Henna has changed all that, curls are now controllable and shiny. The instructions were excellent, though it is still a wee bit of trial and error. I did the henna first then the indigo,I loved the Henna colour and if I was younger would have kept it like that. I looked like the wee ccharacter from Brave. I only left the Indigo on for 10 minutes, but my hair is so porous, it went very very dark which was a bit of a shock, but it does look fantastic, and has toned done to a great colour

Check how much indigo
On my dark hair i did half and half henna and indigo and my greys turned red, not too bad ad i dont have prevalence of greys but might be funny on other people

Good product
Good product. Only needed a portion of the packs for my short bob and still had too much left in the bowl. Will know to use less for next time. Also as I use half the amount of Henna to Indigo to make dark brown, I will only need to buy the indigo next time.Be warned, it doesn't cover greys fully, but I knew it wouldn't. Gives my spattering of grey hairs a warm tone as opposed to dark brown, but still looks good.
