3D HD 360° Car Surround View Monitoring System , Bird View System, 4 Camera DVR HD 1080P Recorder / Parking Monitoring

Installed on 2008 Toyota Prado. Can't attach video to this review, so I added it to product page as demonstration video.I really like this system. Product quality is good (hardware), software and interfaces are good, all necessary accessories for installation are provided.Bird view is perfect (but use it for parking only!! Don't drive a car using system like video game!! It's funny but if there something at 1-2 meters from car at higher speed it will appear suddenly), system also shows side angle view while turning signals on, shows rear on reverse, can record all 4 camera videos on card or USB drive (didn't tried yet), and maybe some other features I didn't explore in menu. Works good at night time.All wiring (4 cameras mounting, and about 8-10 wires connection) made at car shop, within 3-4 hours, side mirror cameras wasn't placed in proper place because of the Prado side mirrors form , and as result rear side of car in stitched 360 view is poor. Will relocate cameras later, need to find something to place between camera and and side mirror to achieve proper angle.Calibration takes another 2-3 hours, there user guide book (system menu is very intuitive, every step explained) and special tape, product box also used in calibration. No need for specialists, just find big empty area and follow instructions. System calculates about 2 minutes your calibration points and makes your 4 spheric images in 1 flat bird view.There 5 vehicles in 3d, I set Lexus RX because it sizes are closer. There also many settings like shadows around car, 3d model size etc.Manufacturer says they working on new firmware that will provide more angles for rear view. Firmware can be update, there's mini USB port. Also AV VGA and HDMI ports.I installed 4.3 inch standalone monitor, but it's small for this system, if your car have 2din multimedia I think it will be best result.All calibration data can be exported/imported, so I think factory can sell vehicle specific versions of this system, with vehicle-specific cameras (inside front logo camera, side cameras shaped for mirrors) and calibration data.

It worked good for about two days. Then it just quit working. Forget about finding support as there a China based company with no US support. My best guess is that this product isn't well suited for the Phoenix heat.

Installed in a Chevy Captiva 2015.Installation will take a considerable amount of work so best left to a professional. Once installed the unit works well.It even came a hole-saw drill bit to drill holes in the mirrors and a USB extension cable in case you want to mount the unit out of the way as well as two calibration tapes. I would suggest keeping the unit accessible because some functions, like saving calibration data, can only be done to the internal TF card slot. Calibration should be done carefully as that determines the quality of your results!The unit has on screen instructions to help you adjust camera angles as well as calibration instructions - very well thought out.You can choose what functions you want active (turn signals, reverse, hazard lights) as well as durations in the menus.One particularly nice feature is the ability to select different views by either flashing your high beam, or by installing a separate switch (included). For example with the side view, flashing cycles you through a 3D view, a camera forward view, and a rear view allowing you to see your rear tyre.The unit has an HDMI output connector as well as your standard composite video. The HDMI connection gives you very high resolution high quality output if your head unit supports that.Tremendous aid to parking and navigating in difficult spots, far better than rear view cameras - absolutely would recommend to anyone whose vehicle doesn't have a factory surround view system.
