My original toilet seat came with nylon tightening nuts for under the seat securing . The seat was never truly secure and I was forever re tightening these nuts . Eventually one split and was just spinning on the thread so lid was now really loose . I could have bought a replacement plastic nut, but am so glad I opted to buy this kit as it delivered on the promise of easy to follow instructions, well made quality parts and ease of fitment. I now have a completely secure toilet seat which I know for sure will remain so. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product to anyone with similar problems... thankyou

Such an easy solution. You wonder why the manufacturers of the toilets don't just make them like this as standard. Easy to fit and problem solved. Happily recommend.
