T**T
The least reviewed Kuhli tarp…
First of all, Kammok really needs to update their imagery and videos for updated products, as theirs are outdated. Unlike their "setup video" states, Kuhli Pro is a truly knotless setup – ridgeline comes with 2 tiny aluminum hooks, so you won't have to tie a single knot while setting up this tarp. Don't get me wrong, I know and love my knots, but knotless design lets you operate without removing the winter gloves, which I absolutely love!Another feature that Kammok forgot to mention: 4 corner guylines come with toggles, presumably to be "buttoned into" these Hypalon reinforced holes (there's no other place to use them, unless you want to tie some loops on the guylines). The ridgeline tieouts are extremely long, which is a good thing. Guylines, on the other hand, are rather pathetic, 3.5 ft each. No "porch mode" unless you replace them!… Well, since Kammok uses gray cord (quite visible if you're using a headlamp at night, but a great tripping hazard in daylight), you'll be replacing yours with something orange or red anyway. I've used Lawson Glowire and kept the stock ridgeline tieouts (no one ever tripped over a ridgeline).Material is quite interesting – it appears to be more rigid than regular Kuhli, so it doesn't sag as much. It also provides a lot (and I mean, A LOT) more shade and privacy when compared to pretty much any other tarp shelter on the market. Silvery inner side really reflects the heat – if you look at it with a FLIR device, you'll see your own reflection.Overall, this tarp seems to be very well made and should last many seasons.
