This is my personal experience. This is a cotton dress. After the first two washing or so it will not look the same as the first wear. Put this in a clothes washer and that is the last you will wear this dress. It will be so mashed up you will not be able to get it smooth again. No amount of fabric starch will be able to bring back color and crispness. Oops hopefully the fabric does not bleed/runs. Anybody wash this dress at yet?It is not a wedding dress nor a church dress. It is more like an afternoon dress. Colors put together looking cute but that is all there is. Do enjoy your first wear it will not be the same after that. Even sending this to the dry cleaners this will not last plus it will be too expensive to maintain such a cheap dress remember what I say... It is cotton, hope you hear me... it is cotton. The only cotton I know will last a tiny bit long is white. No other cotton stand the test.

As other reviews state it is on the smaller size. I highly recommend going up a size. It does have a little stretch. I am a size 20-22 and the 4XL is a is a little snug on the bust and under the bust. I did find it a little loose on the collar back of the neck and arms but nothing that can be noticed by anyone else or a deal breaker to myself. The material is fairly light which is great for the summer. It does come a little wrinkled it will need steamed before I wear it on my birthday it a couple days. It is so gorgeous it is everything I hoped it would be and more. I got it in the green/polka dots. I definitely recommend this dress. Very stylish and fun!

Haven't worn the dress yet because I bought it for a 50's prom party that hasn't happened yet. It's a good thing I bought it early because it seems like it took a very long time to arrive. It fits as expected, after reading reviews that it ran small I ordered a size L (I am 5' 3" and weigh 114) . Glad I did if I had ordered a M it would not have fit. Overall I like the dress and think it is pretty cute.

Pay careful attention to the size guide; I had to order this a size up from what I normally get according to that and thank goodness I did because it fits great! The material doesn't feel like it has any give coming out of the bag, but it definitely does. Wrinkles really easily, definitely needs steamed/ironed before wearing. Looks so cute, got tons of compliments at work. I wore with a white crinolin and it was just the statement I wanted

Beautiful colors! Everyone loved it! But I had the cost of getting it altered back down BECAUSE I had read the reviews in which all of them said this item was too small and to order 2 sizes up from normal size. So I did! However I should have only ordered 1 size up and it would have fit perfectly. A size 12 should order XL and size 14-16 should order a 2X .

This was perfect for my 50's inspired wedding reception. The fabric is a nice weight and has some stretch, so very forgiving, as is the flare at the waist...hides everything! Had great fun wearing this dress on separate special two occasions and got lots of positive comments. Red shiny spike heels,, red necklace, short black gloves and a wide brimmed black and white hat finished off the look!

The style of the dress is depicted well in the photo and it fits as expected. The material used looks more like a costume/fabric store material than formal. If you're trying to save money on a cute dress, this totally works But if you can spend another $30-$50 you'll get better material for sure. I gave it 3 stars because the size recommendations were correct, it fits well, and the design was accurate BUT it needs to be ironed and it is more a throw on dress rather than a good deal with good material.

I'm 5'6" and 190 pounds. Bust 41, waist 37, hip 44. I usually wear a 14 or L in US-manufactured clothing. I ordered a 3XL from this manufacturer, and it was perfect. This fits nicely without clinging, and the length is good (below the knee). I have a bit of a tummy, and that doesn't show in this style. Fabric was crisper than I imagined, but is quite nice. Has the feel of cotton broadcloth, but with some spandex stretch to it. Color true to photo. Very pleased with purchase.
