Smells amazing, rich and moisturizing and creamy. Soaks into my skin nicely. I love this body butter!

This fig-scented body butter smells SO good! I love it! I love the scent of fig and so went on a search to find something fig-scented in a lotion or cream, and found this! It smells so good, it's way better than expected! It certainly entices me to use it more frequently so I end up getting more benefit from it because of the excellent smell -- and it's easy to use, easy to open, easy to get out, I can get just as much as I want (unlike with things coming in tubes that sometimes decide for you how much you're getting!), put in on, close it up, no problem! It came quickly and in great shape, too. It's thick enough it feels great on my skin, very soothing and moisturizing -- and is especially good on potentially rougher places such as elbows .... Let me just reiterate how great the smell is! It shows a cauldron in the picture and I think that captures the scent (and maybe intention of the scent, and also feel?) very well -- it reminds me of events I've attended put on by people who would indeed use a cauldron, so it's magical, communal, caring -- the scent for me is very deeply meaningful, and that isn't something I can say about a lot of lotions or potions available out there! It really draws me into myself and past, socially close experiences. I might even say it makes me believe in myself in that way! It makes me feel I am and can be a part of something, even -- or perhaps especially! -- when I am/ have been feeling isolated for various reasons! SO glad I bought this! An unexpected treat in this tin!

The best body butter!!!! I first came across this brand by finding it in a boutique hotel in Mendocino, CA. It was so buttery soft and had an amazing fragrance. Had to find it and order more!!! Different fragrance, but still the same consistency as the other! Such a lovely product!!! Thank you!!! Highly recommend!!!

Smells great. Love this stuff. All natural. Wish there was vegan options. However this stuff is great! Moisturizing. Greasy, don’t plan on wearing clothes when you put it on. Smells amazing and very orignal scents

I am a sucker for good body butters, oils and natural skin care. I have had many and only a few keep me coming back for more. Three Sisters Apothecary has just made my list. I ordered the Santa Rosa Plum Nutmeg. I really enjoy the light sweet plum smell with a hint of nutmeg. It is not overpowering and not too weak leaving you wanting more. This butter is more like a semi-solid oil than a cream or whipped body butter, but, it goes on smooth and absorbs nicely without leaving a heavy, greasy feel. It leaves your skin feeling soft and nourished almost immediately. This stuff is good for year around use, but, it’s going to be absolutely amazing for dry winter skin.Also, the packaging! Shipped in recyclable padded envelope adorned with a shop sticker, beautifully wrapped in tissue paper with little cauldrons on it. It came with a little envelop with the invoice, business card, sticker and a free trial of the Santa Rosa Plum Nutmeg soap. Super cute and sweet little touches that would make this a wonderful gift for yourself or anyone else that you want to treat to a little spa love. Such a lovely experience. I’ll be back for more!

I ordered two. The cinnamon pumpkin and mission fig with honey. I couldn’t decide! But I’m glad I ordered them because they are both magnificent.They came thoughtfully packaged and included a little sample of the cinnamon pumpkin soap. I’ll definitely be using that very soon, so thank you! That was so nice!The solid lotions melt easily under your fingers. I have arthritis so I have to swirl my fingers around a few times to build up the product but it picks up easy! I’m afraid the first few times, I picked up a bit too much, heh. The lotion melts into your skin quickly and the scents are strong initially but taper off. The cinnamon pumpkin can only be described as smelling warm and the mission fig with honey smells like candy. My skin also feels wonderful after applying this!

I wasn't quite expecting the consistency (a bit like soft shoe polish), but got used to it. I mix it with a non-scented cream and it blends in perfectly. I don't want to lie but the smell was initially a bit surprising due to the mix of vanilla in the licorice tones ( as indicated on the label, I know!), but I quickly got used to it and now I use it just to be able to smell it. The attention to details of the product and its packaging are impressive. Nice metal container with soft grip, easy to open. Got a free soap sample in the shipping. I definitely recommend this. A bit pricey but completely worth it.
