Fantastic device, but troubleshooting may be involved.
TL;DR: It’s fantastic if you are technically inclined. You may want to look elsewhere if you’re not and throwing a last minute party on the switch. Also purchase a usb 3.0 hub.Build Quality(Base): Feels absolutely fantastic. Solid construction, feels heavy and would probably be stationary without the suction cups those just further reaffirm the deal.Build Quality(Buttons): They feel good. I didn’t experience any jamming and they seemed to respond fairly well.Build Quality(Joystick): The joystick did feel a little light, but I’m sure if you don’t like the feeling, it can probably be changed. The pad covering the joystick seems to just float. Perhaps it’s a dust cover?Issue: Connectivity With regards to the switch is when it begins to become slightly discretionary. The device itself uses two separate USB cables. One is for each player. They also provide two USB to USB-C adapter. If you ensure the toggle switch is set to PS3/Switch, connect one of the provided USB-C adapters directly into the switch and then connect one of the USB’s from the joystick, it seems to work well. You should see the light flash from white, to green, to red.Now connecting one of the USB Cables from the joystick to the dock directly doesn’t seem to work well for me. I’m not sure if it’s a power issue, or a usb issue, but it seems to work if you use a usb3.0 hub and connect to the inner usb3.0 port. Someone who’s not into computers would probably assume it to be broken. Just pay attention to the lights. You should see them flash white to green to red for player one, and white to green to red to green for player two.For the usb 3.0 hub I used it’s called UGREEN USB 3.0 Hub Ethernet Adapter. The Ethernet connector is also gig and works natively with the Nintendo switch.I really hope this helps. I really think this is a fanatic device although I don’t think it’s for everyone.

Excellent build and quality
The build quality on this controller is absolutely superb, and while the sticks might be a bit lighter than I'd prefer, the sticks and buttons all feel great, especially after a short break-in.If you're into modding, the steel case opens easily with just 5 screws, all the internals use proper wiring harnesses, and all the connectors use plugs, so parts can be swapped or serviced without the need for soldering. It should be noted that the bottom strip contains a strip of blue LEDs that have no option to turn off, but they aren't distractingly bright, and can be easily disabled by just unplugging their harness. While this controller uses one USB connection per player, this ensures compatibility with anything, in my case, a MiSTer FPGA setup that expects separate devices. You really can't go wrong with this controller, and it's a steal at the price.

Amazing for Raspberry Pi!
Short review- all metal build quality, nice sticks and buttons, effortless set up in Emulation Station (just plug both usb cables into Pi and configure "controller one"- the 2nd player stick will also follow the controller one config so no need to set them up independently)Had zero issues. Within 10 mins my daughter and I were playing Taito's Bubble Bobble arcade and having a great time.If you have a Raspberry Pi and like arcade games this stick is a must.

Nice Joystick
I commend the build, and quality of this joystick. I did return this because the button labels painted on seems odd. I feel the LR buttons should be held by the pinkies not the thumb or pointer fingers

Defective and Completely Unusable :(
Was debating on getting this for months and finally broke and bought it...and instantly regretted it. It shipped fast, looks slick, and the build is awesome, sturdy, heavy and metal. Feels great. However...it's not functional.Despite the easy plug and play setup, the controller is only recognized by my Nintendo Switch about half the time (2P side can't be recognized at all) and the longest I've been able to play without it turning off with no warning was about 5 minutes. The LED lights at the top are constantly switching between green, white, yellow and red, both solidly and flashing, but I have no idea what that means as the instructions have no explanation guide. For the price I paid, I expected nothing less than perfection. Super disappointed.I have reached out via the included customer service email and I will update as soon as possible. If its something like this is just a rare, defective unit and can be replaced by a working one, I can understand that and will update this review with higher stars if it works as expected. If they can't solve the issue or they don't reach out in a few days, I'm sending it back for a refund and the single star will stay.

The exact dual arcade USB set up needed for your rPi builds!
This thing is amazing! I had prior purchased a "Pandora box" to use as a USB dual stick, and unfortunately it did not work. I took a chance with the slim review on this and it works wonders! My rPi4 arcade has never been better. 3 different settings for different systems. Use the neo geo middle setup to get an 8 button layout! I love this thing. I could go on and on, but I want to go back and play! See ya later, get it now, and do NOT regret it!
