Read reviews on a bunch of these, they don't seem to all be the same - these stay seated, and the way the loop is attached to the plug allowed the leash to bend easily (I put a clamp on them for a week before putting on hitch to 'train' the arc in the leash a bit - seemed to help.

So my wife's 4runner has a 2 inch receiver hitch (like most of them do)and for some reason she is constantly bumping knees and shins against it.This fits easily over the outside of the tube and has the plug attached.The plug fits well and covers out through the edge of the receiver.It is constructed of heavy gauge rubber and the strap looks like youcould hang off of it.It isn't perfect as far as protection goes but it goes a long way to keepingpeople from banging easily bruised body parts against it and it should lastalong time even exposed to the elements.

Does the job, plugs the hitch receiver hole. But I've only had these on both vehicles for just a few months and the rubber that bends is already cracking. You could always cut that off, but then there's nothing securing the cover to the frame. Disappointing, but they were cheap so I guess that's the trade-off.

This hitch cover does not have the loop that keeps it on the hitch when it’s not plugged in.But I still needed a cover, so...I put the cover on and it did not fit very snuggly into the hitch. It was loose enough that I worried it would come off and be lost with road vibration.I put a single layer of black duct tape around the shaft and that held the cover in place snuggly enough where I didn't worry about it falling off.

Value for the money...2 plugs for the price.
