when you attach the top it must be lined up with 4 slots on the dish that are hard to see and hard to align.You will spill a lot of the nectar by the time you snap the lid on. If there is any residue of the nectar on the feeder, bees will swarm. Very annoying, BUT the hummingbirds love it.

The hummingbirds love these things. I have 2 of them and they are always busy. There are phlox all over the yard but they choose these feeders. That explains the 4 stars. One star off for the cheap material. One arrived with a broken perch. They still use it because it was just a section. The other one did the same thing when I dropped it about 2’ onto the grass. Cheap material but they were cheap. So…you know…you get what you pay for. And the ant moat works. If you don’t fill it you will be overrun with ants. Fill it. No ants. Great, cheap feeder.

Wasps and Bees cannot access the nectar ! My Hummingbirds don’t have to compete with them. Just what I needed!

The media could not be loaded.  I love the idea behind this and how it prevents the bees from getting the nectar. I just wish it was a nicer quality. The top does not snap to the base so it leaks terribly when moving or hanging it up. Once up it is fine, but hangs a little crooked. Overall I like it but wish it snapped together for a leak proof feeder.

I bought this because it said it was bee-proof. I didn't believe it , but for the price I decided to try it. One feeder I had up was just covered with bees. I couldn't keep them off of it. I hung this one up and watched. The bees came immediately, but they flew around and then flew off. I have had no issues with bees at all with this feeder. Fortunately , I only have about 4 hummers because the feeder is small . But so far, it has been great!!

The other reviews were right--it will not hang straight so there is leakage.BUT so far the bees hate it.My husband tried to straighten the screw in hook that seemed to be slightly bent.This helped a little but it still dripped on the lower side. Dang it--I really wanted it to work.

Pros. Does keep the bees and wasps off due to the design. Very simple to clean. Very happy with this.Cons. At first, I thought the center ant well was broken as it leaked. It turns out this is to keep the center well from overflowing into the nectar mix! Quite clever.Overall, I initially thought it was a cheap design. But it’s not! The hummers can feed and the wasps/bees gave up trying. This is my favorite feeder ever!

Verdaderamente quin este fabricndo este bebedero no tiene la mas remota idea de como un colibri necesita sosotenerse en vuelo o si acaso parado en este bebedero para poder meter su pico.... Es un fiasco !!!!
